Before I get started on my card for you today,  I would just like to thank you all for the wonderful comments I received last week on my first video tutorial on Frantage.  I was staggered  to hear people talking about it and also being mentioned in people's Facebook coversations, so thank you sooooooooo very much for instilling confidence in me to possibly do a second video, lol.  I know you have kept Sandy busy with your frantage orders, so much so that that the store sold out on several colours.  Fear not though, a new order was immediately placed and will be available in store this week.  Speaking of the Store, it is closed today for some upgrades that Sandy has been planning for a while.  It shouldn't be long before you can recommence your shopping, but please keep checking back.  You will however be continued to be inspired by the incredibly talented team on the LLC blog.

Onto my card.  The theme this week for us LLC Girls is "Travel".  I have used the Maya Design Spring Basics 3rd April and went with a traditional sailor blue and white, plus I really love blue and I really love MajaDesigns.  The base was cut using a Go-Kreate Die.

Isn't the Queen Victoria 50mm lace beautiful. I have used the Eiffel tower charm and added a Corked Vial with some micra beads at the bottom and on the seashell, to give that seaside feel.

I added a little frantage around the spellbinders floral oval and on the LaLaLand Flag Banner.  I framed the image with the 6mm beads, well a seaside card wouldn't be complete without some pearls, right?

 All edges were distressed with walnut stain distress ink and a dotting here and there of white gesso.

I Won Magnolia Ink Contest, Eeeek

I have a very special post for you today. Have you seen the latest Magnolia Ink Magazine, eeeeeeeekkkkk, it's the first time I have entered the competition in the magazine and guess what, I wonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, yes I did, can you believe it.  I'm a little excited about this, don't know if you can tell.  Anyway they only posted the front of the Paper Bag Card so I'd like to share the whole project with you today.

O.K. so I made this paper bag card for my Daughter's 21st but I wanted a card that could be signed by alot of people in the company that we work for, so this is what I came up with.  

Warning, picture heavy, lol.

This is the left handside of the inside. I moved the digits on the clock around so that I could place the hands of the clock on 2 and 1, 21 O'Clock, lol.

And this is the right handside. I used a bulldog clip covered in crackle paint to hold all the postcards for individual departments to sign.

Pink Joy

 Morning Crafters,

A huge thank you for all the comments left on my first video tutorial yesterday, I really appreciate you taking the time to watch it, comment or email me.

 I have one f my favourite artists of stamps today, Sarah Kay.  This little lady is called "Pink Joy" and she is beautiful as are all the Sarah Kay Stampavie stamps.

I have again used the Marianne Design Collectables Tab with Text but have attached the Whimsy Stamps Vintage Birthday Tabs 1.

The pearls around the image have had some aged rose frantage treatment, lol.

The gorgeous Marie-Antoinette Lace is from Live and Love Crafts.

The gorgeous pink daisys are from The Ribbon Girl.

It's Spring and a Frantage Video Tutorial

Warning - Long Post, grab a coffee, sit back and chill

I am a little excited today and a little nervous, well actually a lot nervous, lol.  Sandy and the Team have been receiving quite a few emails about the frantage that we have all been using, so I have made a little tutorial.  It's my first video, so please go easy on me, although I would really love to read your thoughts on it, but before you do I would like to show you my DT card for this week's theme with is "Spring". This to me means daffodils so I have done my card in yellow and added some blue for the bluebells.

I have used the new Maja Designs Spring Basics 12x12 and the little calendar is from the Maja Designs Spring Basics 6x6 pad. I have used an image from one of my favourite artists, Sarah Kay, I just love Sarah's images, and yes I have have frantaged this card too, lol. All products used on my card and on the video are on the thumbnails at the bottom of the post, just click and you'll be directed to the product within the Live and Love Crafts Store.

Here's a close up of the floral display and you can just see in the corner one of the metal corners which I have also frantaged along with the beads, check them out, they are sooooo cool, well not at first when you melt them, lol.  Isn't the Penny Farthing just awesome, I absolutely love it!

You can see that I have cut out a magnolia corner and also added a little frantage.  The little peg had a dose of gesso, another favourite of mine. All the edges have been distressed with walnut stain distress ink.  Again, you can see the beads clearly in this image.

And wow look at this wooden butterfly that I have frantaged and the beautiful mottley effect that it gives.  Love, love, love it.

 Lastly a close up of the image, coloured in distress inks.

O.K. now it's time to show you how I made all these embellishments using the FRANTAGE. Hope you enjoy it and I'd love to hear what you think of my first video.

Winner and Hannah Lynn Cards

Morning Crafters,

I have a couple of cards to share with you today, mainly because I'm behind again and I also need to announce the winner of my most recent candy.  I'm sorry there can only be one winner but it is my birthday next month, so I will go shopping for some yummy birthday candy, so if you haven't won this time, don't worry there will be another chance soon.

O.K. so back to my cards that I have to share with you. First up is my DT card for Crafts and Me using a favourite of mine Hannah Lynn image, Genevieve. The theme set this week by Karina is Lace and Pearls, one of my favourites. I have used a combination of the new MajaDesign Spring Basics and Marianne Design Vintage Paper Pad.  The image is coloured with copics.

The little white flower lilies can be found HERE and the beautiful 14mm flatbacked pearl and 20mm diamante spacer, all from The Ribbon Girl.

The butterfly is from the newest Marianne Design Release and I have stamped onto a striped Vellum and embossed with shabby blue frantage.  You will also notice the beads in the middle.  These are the 6mm beads from Live and Love Crafts and I treated them to the frantage treatment too, lol.

My second card is another Hannah Lynn image called Call Girl available at Crafts and Me.  The Papers are again by Pion, they are just soooo beautiful, as are the Hannah Lynn images.  Again the image has been coloured with copics.

The small Gardenia's, blue berries and Emily Lace are all from The Ribbon Girl.

Love remembering these special moments

I have a card to share with you today using the new CC Designs images and this little lady is called "Drozy's Darlings Dress Up".  Isn't she just adorable.  I have used that gorgeous Prima Pad Lyric again and I know I have received several emails of how pleased you are with this pad so I know I'm not alone in how fabulous it is.

I have used prima buttons in the centre of the clock and bow.  The ribbon is from the Ribbon Girls and the 6mm string pearls around the image is from Live and Love Crafts.

I have used mini flat backed pearls from BunnyZoe on her headband.

I have added a frame made from airdry clay highlight the text from the paperpad.

Dusty Pink paper blooms are by Kaisercraft and you can just see the prima pearl swirl protruding out of the top and one of the fab prima lyric buttons in the centre of the ribbon.
