Pink at Crafts and Me & 15% Off

Evening Crafters,

I tried to post this the other night but the internet was really slow, I mean really really slow.  My son tells me that Google was hijacked, I'm not sure if that was right but it seems to be fine now.  Anyway, I'm basically a little late with this post. The theme this week at Crafts and Me is "Pink" and here's my DT card using Autumn Princess by Zindy Nielsen.

I have used the new Marianne Design Craftable Passe-Partout Rectangles and positioned the text on top.  Isn't it pretty.  The die I used was the smallest one in the set.

My second card is using another image by Zindy Nielsen, called Fly Away, love Zindy's images, they are so beautiful.

Teresa has an Easter Special 15% Off Everything in the Store from Friday 29th March - 2nd April while stocks last.
The code to be entered at the check-out is 15

Happy Easter.

More Marianne Design March Release

Morning Everyone,

I have a cute little card today made using the new release Marianne Design Don and Daisy stamps called "Love Is", so sweet.  The edging of the card was made using the gorgeous Laced Coffee Magnolia Doohickey Die, which has fast become one of my favourite dies.  The paper is also from the new Marianne Design Romantic Vintage Pad.

The dusky pink flowers as seen below were made using the Marianne Design Creatables Branch and Flower 2 LR0257, they look like Dahlia's and quite realistic.

The gorgeous Vintage Parasol is another March release from Marianne Designs, isn't it gorgeous.  It can be used for vintage cards and also as a baby shower card. Love this release.

The heart shape at the bottom right is made from Airdry Clay, so easy, light and detailed.

Thanks for popping by.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a little late with this but, guess what...... I've been blogging for 3 fabulous years.  Yayyyyyyy. I have made so many crafty friends and have been fortunate to be a part of some fabulous Design Teams, I truly feel lucky.

Thank you for following me, leaving comments and emailing me, I truly appreciate you all and the friendships I have made behind the scenes.  I know that I don't always get round to commenting on all of your blogs, but I do visit.  Working fulltime sometimes hinders me and I am trying to keep caught up in my lunch hours, but I can only do so much with my arm currently in pain from RSI.

Ususal Deets:-
1) Place a pic in your sidebar and link back to me, (I don't mind which picture you choose, there is a collage at the end if you want to include them all)
2) Be or become a follower, but please only if you want to, not just for the candy
3) Leave your details in Mr Linky Below

Now and Then

Firstly if you live in the UK, what is going on???? It's nearly April and we are a few inches deep in snow and it's freezing.  I've never seen a March like it.

It's a new week at Live and Love Crafts and a new theme, and I think you are all going to have a laugh along the way,  but I first have to report some cruelty behind the scenes.  We all love Sandy but this week she has targeted us all to re-do a card that we made a long time ago, as far back as you can go. We have all been cringing at the thought and I was hoping I wouldn't be able to find the stamps, but I'm honest and I did so I am here today under duress, lol.  Seriously, we still love you Sandy and thank you for making us do this, even though I am still cringing and daren't open my laptop today,  it is actually good to go back and re-create a card you made before to see how far you have come, and to all those emails that I respond to about my colouring, I always say practice, practice, practice and hopefully you will see the difference.

So here it is the THEN and the NOW side by side. This happens to be my very first card that I made using a coloured image and my very first colouring. It dates back to January 2009.  I think it's fair to say that I have always liked flowers but my love for embellishments has definitely grown, lol.

They have both been coloured using distress inks for a direct comparison and on NOW card I have used PionDesign Lily of the Valley 12x12 paper and you will notice a little shabby white frantage around the edges of the image, hehe, love this stuff.  The lace at the bottom is just beautiful.

A little Angel resting on the bark heart, cute.

I have used the little present charm with the words, "for you", perfect for this card. The snowflakes were cut out with accetate and dipped into diamond dust.

A cascade of flowers consisting of KortandGodt Berries, Gardenia, Flower sprays, white poppies and Chrysanthemums all with a dusting of Gesso.

Enjoy the rest of the week everyone, I can sit back now mine's done and see what the rest of the girl's have re-created starting with Tina tomorrow, so be sure to check back, it will be awesome!
