A Breezy Day

Morning Peeps,

I have posted today my first card for Copic Maker Europe and if you haven't hopped over you really should, there's tips, tutorials, an awesome design team oozing inspiration, not sure why I'm on it, lol, colour charts and everything you need to know about copics, so hop on over and follow and of course a little support wouldn't go amiss.  I have used a Hanglar image and I apologise for the amount of pictures but I always find Easels and Stair Steps difficult to photograph as you know so there are several so you don't miss any of the little details, and I'm certainly a girl who loves her embellishments.

If you click on the pictures you will get a better view.

I did warn you , more pictures and more embellishments!

Isn't she just adorable. I drew the scattered clouds using my copics.

This is the back. I have made a pocket and popped two tags in so you can write your message and stamp a sentiment if required.

And here's the copics I used.

Ingredients:-
Medium Copics as above picture
Papers by Pion
Go Kreate Die
Magnolia Doohickety Tag, Swirl Heart, Fence Die
Green, Blue and White Acrylic paint
Leaves and butterfly are lasercut chipboard embellishments from Make It Crafty/Quixotic Paperie
Flowers and seam binding from stash
Tickets and Distress ink from Tim Holtz
Mini buttons (on tags on back of card)

I have entered my card into the following challenges:-

Craftyanns - Summertime
Fashionista Friday - Summer

Me again Peeps,

Just a quickie as I'm meant to be celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary so I'm trying to schedule this post without him seeing, hehehe. I did get a card from him saying "on our wedding anniversary" and he had to handwrite 25th inbetween the our and wedding, good old Tesco Express.  Not really up to my quality I think!  However I did receive a dozen red roses, so he is slightly forgiven but still has alot of sucking up to do.

Right, quick, I must get on with this post.  My card today is for our challenge over at Crafts and Me and the lovely Teresa has chosen the theme of "add a flower".  Well this was really hard for me, not. Gosh I'm rambling again, right here you go.........

Isn't the image by Jasmine Beckett Griffiths gorgeous!   Sorry I haven't got a pic of the copics, I've been working on so many images on my desk this month that they all got mixed up and when I did get organised to take a picture my camera had no battery in, grrrrrrr.

Simply Sassy Sneek Peek Apple of my Eye

Morning Peeps,

Where does the weekend go.  Seriously you blink and you miss it.  I did manage to do an hour in the gymn on Saturday, goodness knows what's come over me and yesterday I visited my niece and the new addition to the family, baby Nikita.  She's gorgeous, so now I'm a Great Aunt!

I also had a little accident with acrylic paint, oh my word.  I only needed a little for the project so I unscrewed the lid. Biggggggg mistake.  I knocked the bottle off the table and it landed upright.  Good you may think. Notttt. It hit the floor with such speed that the contents splurted up and covered me, my sewing machine, printer, radiator and the carpet. Opps!  As i woke up early I just put on my hubbys T-shirt and my linen trousers and went to my craftroom whilst everyone was still sleeping, so my hubby's black Firetrap T-shirt now has splatters of white paint all over it. I was so lucky it didn't splatter the cards I had on the side, typical crafter more worried about my cards than OH's T-shirt. Who would of thought there was that much in a bottle, lol.  My hair still has white streaks, lol.

I have a little sneek peek for you. This is Apple of my Eye and will be available on Saturday from Funky Kits.

Ingredients:-

Image "Apple of my Eye" Funky Kits from Sat 23rd July
Pion Papers
Lasercut Chipboards leaves, corners, flower centre in ribbon by Make It Crafty/Quixotic Paperie

Genevieve an a New Challenge Blog

Morning Peeps,

Oh I went to see Harry Potter last night with my son, and wow has 3D come on since I last saw it in my plastic pink and blue glasses, lol.  Technology hey, now I'm feeling my age.

It's time for another challenge at Make It Colourful and I have teamed my MIC background image, well two actually, I used the Moon and Bats from the Eerie scene and paired it with the Crooked Fence and added the beautiful Hannah Lynn Genevieve from Crafts and Me.  The challenge theme is to colour with with colours other than the usual, browns, blondes, blacks etc.  So out come the purples.....

The sewing machine popped out again to stitch the panels.  The swirly corners are those fabulous Lasercut Chipboard embellishements from Make It Crafty and also available here in the UK from Quixotic Paperie.

Here's a pic of the Eerie Scene and Crooked Fence available from Make It Crafty.  I masked the moon and then used my airbrush to create the background using the Cool Greys and Lilac's.

Before I go I wanted to put the word out that my teamie Amy is starting a new challenge blog where you can show off your Marianne Designs Dies, woo hoo.  Click on the picture below to take you there.

Naughty or Nice

Morning Peeps,

Well another hour or so in the gymn last night and 350 calories burnt off.  I tell ya it certainly makes you think twice about eating a Mars bar when you realise how hard it is to work off 350 calories, lol.  Today is my second week as Guest at Papertake Weekly and I have used the last of my Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy Christmas Set Stamps and you know what that means...... yep next time it will be a sneek peek....... The image is called "Puppy Love" and is available from Funky Kits HERE.

I have again created another scene, which is a bit weird trying to create that warm feel with the snow outside when in reality it's a lovely summer's day.  Nevertheless I now have 7 Christmas cards done and I'm well pleased with that.

I've made a stair step card. The background images are from Make It Crafty and being digital enabled me to create the wallpaper and flooring using digital papers.   I cut the window out and added some snow mesh and backed it with blue card.  Hopefully it looks like it's snowing outside whilst she is sitting in a nice cosy living room in front of the fire.

Ingredients:-
Image Puppy Love available from Funky Kits HERE
Background Images from Make It Crafty
 Medium - Copics
Marianne Design Poinsetta Die & Leaves
Acrylic Paint

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

The Butterfly Garden & Some News

Morning Peeps,

How are we all? It seems an age since my last post, although it was only Wednesday, lol.  Well I've done a session in the gymn and surprised myself by not being as unfit as I thought I was, I certainly gave it some wellie that's for sure and me liitle legs were like jelly when I came out, but I made it home in one piece.

Today at Make It Colourful the theme is to "Add pleats and folds" to your image and this week we are being sponsored by Magnolialicious, so a good excuse for me to use a Tilda, hehehe.  I've made an easel card with some gorgeous papers from Prima and Pion.  I have used a background image from Make It Crafty that is so new it hasn't been released and I don't have a date yet.  So watch out for the future new release as these backgrounds go great with all your images and will be perfect for the summer.

I stamped Tilda on to my card stock and masked her off and the put her through the printer to print the Make It Crafty "Tulip Garden", but don't tell Zoe but she's standing on the beetle, oops!  Do you see the little snail there on the lefthandside.  So cute, so watch out for more of these backgrounds.

I cut out the butterflys in the paper and positioned the main image panel underneath.  You can see this better in the side view of the card.

 This is the base panel.

You can see how I did the butterflies better in this sideview.

Now for my news...... I have been asked to join the new Copic Europe Blog.  Woo Hoo. Hop on over and become a follower so you don't miss anything, the new team will be bringing you inspiration, tutorials, videos and more and they are all awesome!  Click on the blinkie below to go to the blog.

Morning Peeps,

Well I did it.  I am fully fledged gymn member again and I hope to go straight from work tonight and get an hour in.  I think the first time will be a bit intimidating, but I have to get over that and get on with it and I know it won't be long before I love it, you know all those dolphines floating around, lol, you know I mean endorphines.

Anyways Peeps, it's time for the Rockin Rubbah team to demonstrate our skills at Crafts and Me and this week's theme is "Your favourite Stamp".  Well with so many new ones hitting the crafts and me store it's quite hard to choose, but I decided on inking up Jasmine Beckett's new Queen of Halloween available HERE.

Christmas in July

Morning Peeps,

Hope you all had a fab weekend.  I had to go shopping to Tesco on a Saturday afternoon, all I can say is never again!  I hate shopping at the best of times. Yesterday me and OH went out on our bikes, a gentle 6 mile ride..... NOT.  Hubby's idea of short cuts again, up steep hills, sharp left and up a vertical rock hard mud  hill, so much so I nearly fell off me bike, well actually nearly a couple of times.  We were going up a one way street so had to go on the path and got stuck behind two people so I came to an abrupt stop and as I can't quite touch the ground with my feet I nearly fell into the road, lol.  Anyways, 355 calories burnt off so it had its plus points.

Anyways, are you guys having problems with Blogger, I can't leave comments, sometimes my page is all over the place.  I usually swtich browser but it seems to be a problem on both that I use. Grrrrrr.

Just Because

Hiya Peeps,

A quick post from me.  My mojo has been missing and I'm struggling and with around 14 cards to get done in July it's really not the right time to go walkabouts, grrrrrrrrrr.

I have today got for you one of the new Hannah Lynn Stamps called Sweet Selina available HERE at Crafts and Me.  Wow, isn't she gorgeous, but then again aren't all Hannah Lynn Stamps just beautiful?

Now it's that time of the year where the Rubbah DT are making cards for the forthcoming show so limited embellishments are called for....... well you know I struggle with that so this is kinda minimal for me, but Teresa knows that I try, lol.

Here's a close up of this beauty.

Ingredients:-

Image "Sweet Selina" from Crafts and Me HERE
Papers from Websters
Magnolia Doohickey Swirl
Martha Stewart Butterfly punch
Sentiment is Whimsey Stamps
Quickutz Corner Die
lace, pearls, Doily from stash

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

Shellys Images - Recycle (corrugated cardboard/doily)
Divas by design - diecuts
Crazy Challenge - Beautiful women
Critter - (2 different colours of card, 1 prima or paper flower, 1 image, 1 sentiment)

That's it from me. Have a good weekend.
