Unregrettable Pirate Life

Good Peeps,

Wow, a bank holiday weekend, thank goodness, I need some rest. All the housework is done, so my weekend will start when I get in from work tonight.

Right onto today's card which I have made using "Unregrettable Pirate Life" from Ching-Chou kuik's Fantasy Art Collection, Sheet #10, plate #36, which is available right HERE from Crafts and Me. I'm loving these stamps. I have coloured her using copics and added a bit of sparkle, he, he, just can't stop myself. I have used the Marianne Design flower and raised the 2nd layer and added some flat back pearls and a prima centre, gorgeous. The doily has been sprayed with some cosmic shimmer. The whole card has the distressed look which for a change I did actually use my making memories distress tool instead of a scissors or cutting blade and after reacquainting myself with it I think I will be using it more often, lol. The spotted organza is actually a wedding favour but I put it to better use. The little BELIEVE ticket is availabe from Alissa Designs.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Quixotic Paperie - Distressing
Charisma Cardz - Girly card with flowers

I have chosen, ching-chou kuik's Love is Gone by Sweet Pea Stamps available from Crafts & Me . She is one of my favourites.

GOAL!

A Very Happy Monday Morning Peeps,

I hope you all had a great weekend. Unfortunately it rained yesterday, so I had to craft, lol. I bet I wasn't the only one!

This fortnight Sophisticats are lucky to be sponorsed Jenni of Cardmad Fairy, and Jenni is offering the winner 5 digi images of their choice. Wow, isn't that absolutely fabulous. Jenni is also giving the "Debbie" image free with any purchase until the end of April.

The Design Team have been fortunate to choose a digi from Jenni and I for my sins, chose KEVIN. I don't like doing male cards but I thought he is a fab image for a boy or Man, so would be good to have a card on hand in readiness.

I have coloured him using copics. I cut the stars out by hand and layered them. I used a Martha Stewart punch "Trelis", and the "GOAL" is actually a die I had made a couple of years ago, woo hoo! Haven't used it in a while, so dusted the cobwebs off this is the result.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Have a good day everyone and I hope you take the time to hop on over to Sophisticats to see what the other Design Team Members have come up with and also to enter this fortnights challenge.  See you back here on Wednesday.

Sweet Pea's Soft Goth Night

Yayyyyyyyy, It's Friday,

Wow this week has been a long week at work, roll on May Day!

On today's card I have used Soft Goth Night from Ching-Chou Kuik's Fantasy Art Collection, Sheet #10, plate #36, availabe right HERE from Crafts and Me. I have gone with some different colours for a change, not usually my sort of colours but it doesn't hurt to come out of your comfort zone once in a while. In fact I have done that alot lately and quite like what I have created.

I have used copics to colour her and distress inks for the background. I have used the large Martha Stewart punch, and again you can check these out at Crafts and Me too. The flowers are a bit of a mix from Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima. Lace and Ribbon are from Stash. I have added a little glamouor dust here and there, just can't resist a little sparkle!

I have entered this card into the following challenge:-

Everybody Art - Sketch
ABC Challenge - Sparkle
Quixotic Paperie - Make a splash

Congratulations - You Passed

Morning Peeps,

It's challenge time again at Karen's Doodle's UK and this week's theme is MONOCHROMATIC. Now, this theme has always scared me and I have, until now that is, managed to avoid it. But being on the Design Team I have had to attempt this challenge. I chose one of Karen's new doodles, isn't he adorable and great for graduation cards, passing exams etc.

I have coloured the Graduation Doggy in using copics and layered him onto a die cut from Marianne Designs.  I have also used the Marianne Designs flower  die cut, the middle one with the wholes cut out, these dies are just fabulous.  The large punched middle section is a Martha Stewart Trelis punch, another favourite of mine.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Stamp with Fun - Animals
Charisma Cardz - Monochromatic
Digital Tuesday - April Flowers
Paper Sundaes - No people
Sweet Shop Sketches - Sketch
