Love is Gone By Sweet Pea

Happy Good Friday,

I have had a nice lay in this morning and looking forward to another 3. Woo Hoo! Advantage of older children now. Well I hope you have all hopped over to the New Crafts and Me Challenge Blog, the Design Team have done a fabulous job, so if you need some inspiration pop over, create something along the lines of fairies or wings and enter our first challenge. We look forward to popping by all your Blogs.

Now my card. Well I thought I would experiment with backgrounds and got out my old moonshadows, but the pump wasn't working too well and was splodging. So then I mixed some glimmer mist powders, but I had already coloured my image. So I masked her and used just a subtle blend as I didn't want to spoil my image. Lesson learned, do the background first! Next time I will be more adventureous. The stamp is "Love is Gone", beautiful image, available from Teresa at Crafts and Me. I have coloured her using copic's this time. Background paper is websters and cardstock is bazill has been embossed and distressed. Lots of star dust stickles have been added and the swirls are the new Marianne Designs Creatables. Lace, flowers, pearls are all from stash.

To finish off I spraying the whole card with Pearl Glimmer Mist, just love that oveall sheen effect, although not captured in the picture.

A Fairy Happy Birthday

It's Wednesday morning and time for another Karen's Doodles UK Challenge! Yep, and this week's challenge is "photo inspiration".  Remember you must enter using a Karen's Doodle, which are available from here. I have chosen the Fairy Princess, I think she's a little darling:-

I have coloured her using copic markers and added some sparkle using star dust stickles and sakura clear glitter gel pen for her wings and skirt. Computer sentiment with an swaroski crystal, (don't think that's spelt right),  in the centre and one in the centre of the wand for added sparkle!

Woo Hoo, It's Here, Launch of the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog

Well, all the Designers and especially Teresa, the owner, are all really excited that today is here and the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog kicks off. Our first challenge is Fairies/Wings. The prizes are absolutely fantastic and I wish I could enter myself.

I have coloured this image in using Twinkling H2O's, and I have also sprayed the whole card in glimmer mist, I just love sparkle.  And to add that extra bit of sparkle I have added stickles star dust to the flowers.  I don't think the camera has caputred it all but in reality it really sparkles.  I have used a Martha Stewart Heart punch and a small paper doily and metal corners for that added touch.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the beaded swirls are from my stach.  The design papers are Bo Bunny, fab papers.

I'm back again this morning,

Today I am announcing that I was chosen to be on another design team, "Cooking It Up With Katie". Katie for a while now has managed on her own, but she has called in reinforcements to help and today's the day that the new design team is revealed, and yep, you've guessed it, I'm on it!  Katie's challenge is every other Wednesday, so you have plenty of time to create and enter.

I have used papers that are at least two years old, probably longer. They came in a kit that I just haven't got round to using. My somethng new is my delightful ditital image from  Digital Delights and my something sweet, which can be in image form or in the design papers, are the lolipops and ice-creams on the papers and a popsicle that I placed in his hand.

Cute Little Puppy Dog

Well it's Monday again, where did the weekend go?  So, it's time for another Sophisticats Challenge.  Today's challenge has been chosen by the lovely Jan, that old English saying, "It's raining Cats and Dogs".  I don't have too many furry friend stamps but I do have this lovely Magnolia one, so here he is:-

I have coloured this little doggy in using copics.  The design paper is something I had in my stash, along with the lace and paw print ribbon.  The sentiment is computer generated and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
