Make Your Own Flowers at Craftalicious

Happy Friday Peeps,

I'm extremely happy that it's Friday as this means that I will be going on a well earned holiday next week and won't be at work, yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!

This fortnight at Craftalicious  Gina has chosen the challenge of "making your own flowers", something we are probably all guilty of not doing enough of and when we do we think, "why don't I do that more often"?  Well now's your chance to get out all your stash and create some beautiful flowers so we can all visit your blogs and steal your ideas, lol!

This challenge is being sponsored by Stitchy Stamps and I have used the image "Sprite".  If you haven't visited Stitchy click HERE and take a good look around, there are some really fab images.  Please pop over to view the design teams creations at the Craftalicious Challenge Blog, but unfortunately a couple of members had computer problems and were unable on this ocassion to use the images provided but you won't be disappointed, believe me!  Anyway enough waffling, here's my card:-

Isn't she fab???

Materials Used:-

Coloured using copics
Felt to make the flowers
Design papers are Basic Grey
All panels are stitched using a sewing machine
Edges are distressed with Walnut Stain and added Diamond Stickles
Diamond stickles on the wings and flowers also,  lots of sparkle!
Sentiment is from TLC (fab, you must visit)
Martha Stewart Frond Punch

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Simon Says Stamp - Dotty, (basic grey paper and small pink dotty ribbon)
The Crafty Pad - Vintage
Bunny Zoe - Summer Days (fairy in the garden)
Digital Tuesday - Dazzle Me
Basic Grey - Stitching & Basic Grey Papers
Crazy 4 Challenges - Picture Inspiration (spots)
Create 4 Fun - Flowers

Your card is so fantastic. I love your flowers and the way you colored her hair. Do you have a tutorial for either? I've noticed that the way you color hair is so realistic. Oh, and thanks for the comment on my blog, too. dj1952
