Morning Peeps,

Hope you've all had a fab weekend, I've spent mine most catching up on DT cards, so lucky me I've had a crafty weekend, with the exception of having to do the boring housework, in fact I haven't stepped oustide the door since I came home from work on Friday, lol.  Think I'm becoming a recluse!

Seeing Dots Children's Challenge at Make It Colourful

Morning Peeps,

Just popped on to let you know that it's time for Make It Colourful's Children's Challenge and this time round we want to see dots.  My niece Chelsea, aged 10, has done a card and I know you lovely followers did me proud last time by hopping on over to leave her some love, so can I ask you to do the same again for me this time. I won't spoil it by posting her card on here but I know she has worked hard, and believe me she does it all on her own, coloured within the lines, all the cutting, so I am very proud of her.  So if you could spare a minute click HERE.

Thanks and have a good weekend.

Mr & Mrs

Morning Peeps,

Yayyyy it's finally Friday.  I don't know what it is about the bank holiday weekend's but even though we didn't go back to work until Tuesday it's still been a long week.  Anyway's work's been boring, well maybe not boring but extremely busy, still shouldn't complain I do actually love my job, but then again if I were to win the lottery, I think I'd be off like a shot!

Well today it's my turn to post on the Crafts and Me Blog and if you haven't visited lately you should hop on over, there is so much inspiration from the team and if you like your digi's the new releases are being showcased and are absolutely gorgeous, but don't take my word for it go and have a peek.

Right, lost where I was there waffling away.  I have used the Whiff of Joy Oakley as Groom and Willow as Bride available from Crafts and Me.

I have coloured them using my copic pens and prisma pencils and added some star dust stickles to the veil. Don't know if you can tell but it was extremely sunny when I took this picture.

My sewing machine decided to do it's own thing at the top, typical, but I have worked out why.  There were lots of layers and the stitching I kind of decided to do as a last minute thing and I had glued, yep glued the edges on before deciding to stitch.  So I think my machine didn't like glue, don't blame it and because it was strips it was hit and miss as to whether the needle went through all the layers or not.  Anyway that's what I get for deciding afterwards!

Ahhhh, aren't they gorgeous.

Ingredients:-

Oakley and Willow Bride and Groom available from Crafts and Me HERE
Paper by Bearly Mine Designs
Gorgeous Filagree Border is Lasercut Chipboard which I have painted with white acrylic paint is available from Make It Crafty HERE

Can't believe it's Monday again but with this one being another bank holiday, I certainly don't mind. Yesterday set 7 of  the Simply Sassy's landed on my mat, and WOW, they are of a slightly different style to previous sets, but my oh my, they are absolutely fabulous, can't wait to show you, but we have to wait until all the girl's on the DT receive their stamps, so keep your eyes peeled. Today's project for the Simply Sassy Inspiration Blog is something I have been meaning to do for sometime and finally got round to doing it spurred on by the "Winking Student" available HERE at Funky Kits.

This notebook was red and black to start with.  I painted it with lilac acrylic paint first and then added some of my favourite papers by Websters.

I have to say she was a dream to colour and I've just noticed she got a splodge of white paint on her knee, lol.

I love how it turned out.  This book holds all my little colour combo's and a few swatches and oh the instructions for the around the page punches, I guess you could say it's my crafting bible, lol.

A little pocket on the inside to hold my bits and pieces.
