Morning Peeps,

Ahhhh my favourite morning of the week, lol, but I guess we all say that.  It's my turn to post on the Crafts and Me Blog and this week I have chosen to ink up "Vanessa" by Hannah Lynn.  I love the bold lines of these stamps and the gorgeous flowing hair and her pretty face, well actually everything about them.  Oh and don't forget the blog hop is on until 15th April and your chance to win some prizes along the way and a whopping £45 voucher to spend in store.  Without further ado here's the beautiful Vanessa....

And this tranlsates to Leia.  Congratulations, contact me on the email address at the top tab by the weekend so I can get this off to you.

Simply Sassy Tissue Box

Morning Peeps,

Hope all the Mum's got thoroughly spoilt yesterday.  I had a lovely day with flowers, little cupcake truffles, yum, yum and a gift voucher for Top Shop from my daughter and 3 crafting stamps from my Son. Bless him, he reffed a couple of football matches, put his money in the bank and bought his mummy some crafting stamps, isn't that sweet, bless.  Then we all went out to the Harvester for a lovely family meal.  So you can safely say I had a lovely day.

Today for the Simply Sassy Inspiration Blog HERE, I have made a Tissue Box using "Fairy Tale" available from Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits HERE.

The tutorial I followed is from my fabby Teamie Vicky, you can see it HERE.  I adjusted the height of the box by 2 cm.  It fitted my Boots Tissue Box perfectly and also accomodated my square papers that I printed to size, that's the beauty of digital papers.

Just love this Stamp, all that flowing hair and that beautiful face. I have used copics to colour her and prisma's for the shading on the hair.

Here's a picture of the top of the box.  I cut out the middle section with my nesties and also made a frame out of kraft cardstock, again using my nesties,  and edged with vintage photo distress ink. The gorgeous lasercut chipboard flourish is available from Make It Crafty.  Seriously can't get enough of these!

I will be keeping this tissue box and I'm sure I'll be making more of them.

Ingredients Used:-
Image "Fairy Tale" by Sugar Nellie at Funky Kits HERE
Papers are Vintage Lace from Bearly Mine available HERE
Kraft Cardstock by Bazill
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Pearls and Lace from stash
Martha Stewart Frond Punch

Dont forget to join the Crafts and Me Bloghop with hidden prizes along the way and a £45.00 voucher for the overall winner HERE.

I have entered this Tissue Box into the following challenges:-

Sir Stampalot - Ladies Fashion
I Did It Creations - Anything Goes
Paper Sundaes - Spring Blosoms

Bright Colours at Make It Colourful

Morning Peeps,

Gosh this last week has been a whirlwind of crafting, crafting, crafting. As you would of realised this is my 8th post and card since last Friday, bearing in mind I work full time, this was rather a lot, if not too much for me to keep up with. Unfortunately my tiredness caught up with me and today's creation isn't my best :( I should have done the tent bigger I think but I really run out of time and energy, although if I hadn't been going to watch my Son is his School's District Cup Final last night, which incidentally they won in extra time, yes extra time, why couldn't they do it in the usual time! Anyway they won 3-0 and I was so pleased for him as this is the last time they will play as a team that have been together from year 7 to year 11 before they all part their ways, be it college, 6th Form or leave for the big wide world.  Anyway, where was I, oh yes, if it hadn't been for the football match I would of ripped this up and started again. Sadly, I had no play time left and if I'm honest no enthusiasm to sit in my tidy craft room and create.  If you didn't see my craft room and copic storage you need to scroll back to Tuesday's post, and you'll see what I had been up to.

Right, with great shame I have to show you my card for today's challenge at Make It Colourful which is Bright Colours, so if nothing else this card certainly fits the bill. This didn't turn out as it was in my head and I feel I didn't do the tent image justice..... must try harder next time, lol.

The image I used is the Circus Digi Tent by Make It Crafty available HERE.  Please hop over to see all the fabulous creations that the girls have made on the Make It Colourful Challenge Blog HERE.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Simply Sassy Blog Hop

Welcome to the Fun Simply Sassy by Sugar Nellie Blog Hop,

Today the DT are having a hop using Simply Sassy's from previous releases.  Be sure to leave a comment on each of the DT Blogs along the way as some members have candy and it could well be hidden.  If you have arrived from the fabby Anita's Blog then you are on the right track.  If  not then you need to start HERE.

I have been itching to ink up the "Artistic Goddess" availalble from Funky Kits HERE. I think she's a bit eccentric so I felt she needed to have coloured hair, well it is craftworld afterall so we can have  blue, or purple hair for that matter, ummmm purple, might be an idea for the next ink up, lol.

I seem to be really into my border punches at the moment as you can see. I have used it as the main back panel and then around the oval shape.

I sprayed the flowers with pearl glimmer mist, and silk ribbon for that matter, I do like a bit of sparkle.

A close up of Little Miss Eccentric.

And here's the mini candy that I have to offer, so be sure to leave a comment and I will draw a random winner on Monday.
