Pink Winter

Morning Everyone,

It's been some time since I made an Easel card so I thought I would do a shaped one using the Dutch Doobadoo Stencil. The image is by  Magnolia image available at BunnyZoe.

I have  added copic markers  W3, W1, W00 to tone the colours to create a more vintagey look.

The papers are also by Magnolia and available at BunnyZoe.

The fabulous leaf die is available at Noor!DesignUk, links at the bottom of the post.

The flower spray and white berries are available at Live and Love Crafts.

The pink flowers are available from Live and Love Crafts  but the cream rose was created using the Noor!Design UK Rolled Roses die.

I have used the new heart die, and text from the the new Love sentiments, again links are at the bottom of the post.

The corner die is again a Noor!Design die, links at the bottom.

I have also used the little wings from the hear die to attatch to the Dutch Doobadoo tag.

I have added shabby white frantage to Tilda and have accidentally got a little snow in her eye.

Again the beautiful heart filagree heart die and the Ice Crystal 3 die.

The heart button is available from BunnyZoe.

The little gloves is also a Noor!Design die, again links at the bottom of the post.

Copic Markers used:-
Skin E0000, E000, E04, E11, E00
Hair E25, E31, E50
Clothes RV95, RV93, RV0000, RV000, RV00, W3, W1, W00

Village Scene

Hello Everyone,

I had a busy day yesterday in my craft room getting messy, lol.  This is my Guest DT project for the Ribbon Girl with a theme of Christmas using a LOTV image.  I have wanted to find the time to do this project for a while and after seeing Tiet's scene I have been desperately trying to get into my craft room and get started,  so yesterday  I grabbed this as my opportunity.  I love the little carol singer image from LOTV and thought it would be perfect with the little Houses and Trees from Dutch Doobadoo.

I have used two paper pads from Noor Design, the Winter Wonderland and the Bricks. Love both these pads.

The Dutch Doobadoo tree's couldn't have been easier, I just added that fabulous Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste and they were done.  These would look fabulous on their own or you could add the houses and create a wonderful christmas scene.

The image is an older one from LOTV but nonetheless gorgeous, just love it and perfect for my scene.  I have added Gloria Ivory Cotton lace on each of the windows which is available from The Ribbon Girl.

I made a little floral display at the front and used a Gardenia, white Carnation, 10mm Red Rose, Red Berries, Tiny Berries and a red rose bud, all from The Ribbon Girl.

The Cinamon sticks, vax cord and flower spray are all from Live and Love Crafts.

Just behind the floral display is the gorgeous Reindeers which I have forgotten to add white spots to.  These will be back in stock at Noor!DesignUK in the middle of January.

On the house on the right I have added softwood bricks and structure paste, icicle edge, ice crystal 3 and added a wooden snowflake from The Ribbon Girl.

At the top of the smaller tree I added the gorgeous crystal angel charm from The Ribbon Girl.

The cascading silver pearl string is from Live and Love Crafts.

Doesn't that structure paste look fabulous.

I added a small floral display to the bottom of right handside house and added a sparkly crystal star pin, love these pins, so glad this project is for keeps.....

I added a Vintage Flourish leaf, my absolute favourite leaf die, links at the bottom.

I used the fence die several times, glued together to create the fencing all the way round, so elegant.

I haven't quite worked out night time photography so this was taken with my phone.

Forgive the next pictures as I never set out to do a tutorial on this but remembered that when I posted Astrid's on facebook that there was a request for a tutorial so I thought I would take some pictures along the way.

Using the Dutch Doobadoo houses place them on your chosen paper and draw round.  Cut out the pieces.  I used paper pads from Noor!DesignUK Winter Wonderland and Bricks as I wanted the roof the look different, so to me the are tiles, lol.

Using the Icicle die cut out in white and arrange under the roof.

I used the Dutch Doobadoo Glue as it has a little spreader on it and dries clear.  Add glue to the wooden house and add your papers.

Add lace behind the windows as curtains.  The beautiful Gloria lace is from The Ribbon Girl and is available here.

I placed softwood bricks dotted around the house and glued down.

I added structure paste to the bricks and around the house.

Repeat the process on your second house.

I cut a large circle from mountboard.  I wouldn't personally recommend mountboard.  I intended to use a cake board but due to the time of year they were sold out.  My second option was to use foamboard which I have in the garage, but there are spiders in there and hubby was at work, lol.  I couldn't wait so I went ahead but I would recommend my first two options as I had to reinforce the houses and trees but I will be gluing to foamboard tomorrow.

Mark with pencil where you want your wooden pieces to go.

Cut out and make wide enough to fit your pieces in.

Add structure paste to all around as your snow, love this stuff.

I cut several of the fence diecuts and glued together before adding around the edge by tucking the bottom section of the fence under the mountboard.

Decorate as desired.
