Bits and Bob

Hi Peeps,

I've been playing around with my Marianne Dies and look what I created.........

First up is my little heart tin.  I have covered the tin in Perfect Paper.  I have had this an age.  You paint it on and when it dry it's like handmade paper.  I have also added a little snowtex here and there.

 Papers are from Pion.

Next up is my Bits and Bob's Box.

I have used:-

I also cut the scissors out onto shrink plastic, heated with my heat gun to make little scissor charms.  They are so cute.

I also made a little handbag charm too.  After I shrank the scissors I added gold embossing powder and silver embossing powder.

Masquerade

Hi Peeps,

I almost forgot to post DT card for Copic Marker Europe which also fits Crafts and Me challenge this week for "Pretty in Lace". The image is one of the new stamps from Crafts and Me called "Masquerade".  She's out of stock right now, I wonder why? I love the BG range of copic colours, to me they are like sea green and I will definitely be experimenting with more of this range of colours.  The beautiful papers are my favourite at the moment, Pion, I am sure you have heard of them. Anyway, here is my card.........

I have used BG78, BG75, BG72, BG000 on her dress and feathers
For the stripes I have used C7, C5, C3, C1

It was hard achieving the bumps in her dress so that it looked like it went in and out but I think I got there in the end.

For her hair I used E53, E51, E50 and touches of E55 where I wanted it to be darker
For her face I have used E000, E00, E01, E11 and then I used BV00 over her eyes and bridge of her nose to show a shadow of where her mask has been

I also airbrushed a white rose with BG78 to match her dress and coloured the Make It Crafty Chipboard flourishes also with my copic markers.

My new Marianne Design Anja Border LR0212 arrived yesterday and couldn't wait to play, it's on both the edges of my card and has little roses embossed, beautiful and of course matches perfectly with the Marianne D Anja Corner LR0200. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I look forward to reading your comments and I've just added Candy HERE.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

Little Darlings - Pearls
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

Evelyn in Paris

Hi Peeps,

Well what a day I've had with this puppy.  Whilst my daughter sat in her bedroom, right next door to the bathroom, and her door was open, Ollie helped himself to the toilet roll and ripped it to shreds on the landing floor.  Apparently she didn't see or hear him.  Then whilst my Son was sitting in the lounge my sister popped an envelope through the door with some money in it and when I first came down the stairs I thought the trail of toilet paper had also gone down the stairs, but nope, he'd eaten the Queen's head on the £20 note!!! The silver bit is still in it and the serial no. so hopefully I cellotape what I have and well the missing inch is in his tummy.  Teenages huh, aren't they just great, too much trouble for them to look after him for 5 minutes. Grrrrrr.

I've just got back from puppy training where he has heeled perfectly and learned a new skill of turning left without a problem and looked like butter wouldn't melt. Good little Ollie, What do you think?

OK little rant over, onto my card. Well the challenge at Make It Colourful this fortnight is "Autumn Colours".  I must admit when the great Zoe showed us the Paris elements they scared the hell out of me but if you look at recent hop where THREE companies came together namely, Make It Crafty, Whimsy Stamps and Little Miss Muffet the inspiration those girls gave us was A-mazing!

I have used one of the scenes that Zoe pre made available HERE and added the Penny Farthing and Evelyn from the Paris Collection at Little Miss Muffet HERE. I really enjoyed colouring this scene, hope you like it.

I added the shadows in on the Penny Farthing after seeing Jane's absolutely fabulous scene.  Jane is an artist and her attention to detail is second to none, well worth a visit.

Ingredients:-

Background scene from Make It Crafty HERE
Papers are Pion
Chipboard Flourish Corners are Make It Crafty HERE

Valentine Masquerade

Hi Peeps,

Do you ever start crafting and 3 hours later you haven't actually achieved anything?  Well this is me this week, suffering from Crafters Block.  I have had no inspiration at all and with a long list of to do's I really need my brain to function.  I can also do with a cleaner but I guess that isn't going to happen either, lol. It has taken me a couple of days to come up with my card for today and I have kept inside very plain for me.

I have used the image Valentine Masquerade by Jasmine Becket-Griffith available right HERE. I have  coloured her using my copics and then I added some mist using a sponge and a white brilliance ink pad.

Sorry, definitely picture heavy......

I made a gatefold card using the gorgeous Marianne Design Creatables Anja Edge LR0202

Papers are Melissa Frances and Basic Grey

The leaf die used with the floral arrangement in the right hand corner is also a Marianne Design Creatables Decorative Elegance LR0157

Flowers are a combination of WOC and Marianne Design.

The punch used on the edge is a Martha Stewart punch and the red ribbon is from my stash.

A Basket of Poppies

Hi Peeps,

Today's card is a little different from my normal choice of cute images and is my DT card for the Copic Marker Eurpope Blog.  If you've not been over in a while you really should check out the inspiration.  A diverse team with so many different styles so always something different to see. And... did you know we have a challenge going on.  It's an easy one, "doodling".  Just include some doodling on your creation and there's also a tutorial on this.  You can check it all out HERE.

O.K. onto my card.  I chose my paper first which is by Magnolia and is a vintage red.  When placed next to my copic chart matched perfectly to the "R80" range. My image is  floral display of Poppies from Tiffany Doodles.

I have coloured some of the poppies using R85, R83, R81 and then coloured some using R89, R85, R83.  By just replacing one copic (R81 for R89) creates a darker shade and gives a contrast in the colours as you can see.

For the leaves I have used YG67, YG63, G20.

The basket placed at the bottom of the floral poppies was cut using the

Marianne D Craftables - Flower Basket (CR1208)

I gave the poppies some dimension by adding foam tape so they stand out from the basket.

I really hope you have enjoyed seeing something different from me today and I appreciate any comments you may leave.
