Whoo Luvs Ya

Hi Peeps,

I'm back again and this time with a DT card for BunnyZoe using these cute little "Whoo Luvs Ya" owls by Tina Wenke from Stampavie.  I created a stair step card and used my Go Kreate dies to create the shaped back panel.

The front panel was created using the newest Marianne Design Creatables Anja Rose Border Die LR0212 and I left the die on whilst swirling some Tim Holtz Distress ink over the embossed areas.

The gorgeous papers are the new Glitz French Kiss 6 x 6 papers, they are fabulous.  The leaves were created using Marianne Design Decorative Elegance, and Marianne Design Forest Branch LR0150.  Flowers are by Prima and the lace at the bottom of the large panel is by Marianne Design.

Have a good weekend.

Adele

Hi Peeps,

Gaw'd do I need more hours in the evening, well either that or I need a win on the lottery so I don't have to go to work.

Isn't the weather in the UK lovely at the moment, it's a shame I spent it at the NEC, lol.  How could I possibly mean that......... well actually I was a little disappointed this time round, what did you think of it?

On Sunday I went round to my lovely Teamie Jane's house to practice some colouring with Prisma's. Jane is a true artist and has such a selection of pencils and papers, and a pink craft studio, so much choice, it was like being in a sweetie shop. We only got time to colour the face of an image, dreadful really seeing as I was there was four and a half hours, we was chatting crafty stuff and the time just flew, you know how it is.  I spent a little more time on my project last night and finished her up tonight, she's not on a card but thought you might like to see how my practising is coming along....

The image is called Adele from Make it Crafty and the current challenge at Make It Colourful is movement and I thought this image is ideal as there's lot's of movement in these glorious waves.

The image was printed onto Murano pastel cardstock so a first for me, but I love the results.  The real problem I had was trying to match the skin tones on the body to the face as at Jane's I used polychromo's but at home I only have Prismas, well for the moment anyway, going round Jane's I came home with a list of must haves, lol. The polychromo's maintained their sharpened point and you could get better defintion than I could with the prisma's.  The lines were thicker as you lose the point straight away, but I'm getting there.  As with copics, practice, practice, practice.

Golden Guitar Fairy

Hiya Peeps,

It's Friday and what a relief but I have a busy schedule ahead this weekend, but after next week I'll have a week off work, yayyyyyyy, mind you I'm so behind with household chores I have a bit of catching up to do.

Thank you for all your comments yesterday, they are very much appreciated and hopefully next week I will get some blogging and commenting done of my own.

Today's card is using the Golden Guitar Fairy by Jasmine Becket Griffith from Crafts and Me, there's one thing you can say about my blog, it certainly has a variety of styles, lol, from vintage yesterday  to the fairies today, let me know what you think......

The papers are Prima, just love the aqua and pink although I realised afterwards that the flower corner section of the paper should have been placed to the top left, oh well.....

Here's a close up of the Golden Guitar Fairy, although I didn't give her a golden guitar, hehehe

Lots of dies again:-
Tim Holtz on the edge butterfly
Quickutz Corner

And here's a reminder to save you going back to the top...

Have a good weekend everyone and if anyone is going to the NEC and wants Envelope boxes or the 6 3/4 and wants to save on postage let me know, I will be there on Saturday.

Oh and don't forget my candy HERE.

Vintage for Mum

Hi Peeps,

Wooo Hooooo, sorry just had to get that in first...... I've reached 1000 Followers.  Thank you to everyone new and existing, I love reading your comments and receiving your emails.  I can only apologise for not doing as much visiting of late but I've had a few personal issues going on in the background and just not enough hours in the day.  I'm working on some more celebration candy, I know not more.....lol.  I'm like a bus aren't I, you wait for ages and then 3 come along at once.

Today, I want to share with you another card for my Mum whose birthday is next week.  She's not had a good time of late with one illness or another and then on Monday following a CT scan for which they thought she had Parkinson's, it showed that she has dementia.  Coupled with the excrutiating pain of her back and neck, for which she won't undergo another cortisone injection and refuses the operation, so with the addition of losing her memory she's not in the best of spirits, so maybe this card will bring a little smile.

The image is from a sheet from Marianne Designs, I really love them and they make quick cards as you don't have to colour them. This image is from the Marianne Design 3D Cutting Sheet Spring VK9523.
The die used across the bottom is the new March release Marianne Design Creatables Anja Border LR0212.  All have been inked using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink.

I have again used the beautiful Marianne Designs Craftable Butterfly CR1205
The postcard stamping at the top is a stamp by Kaiser craft "post marks" available HERE

The little tag is by Magnolia Doohickey Wrapped So lovely.  I placed it through my crimper and added some white acrylic paint, ribbon, Marianne Design Vintage Lace pack JU 0823 and charm and of course I stamped out the little letters for MUM.

The papers are all from the new Marianne Design Pretty Papers Bloc Vintage Pastels.

I think I've linked everything up so you can find it, if I haven't and there's something you'd like to know, just leave me a comment or mail me.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

Evening Peeps,

I've had a little time to play so of course my Maggies came out the box.

I have used Tilda with Daisy, I've seen her around a lot and just love her.

I followed the sketch over at TOMIC with the theme of flowers and feathers.

Circles at Crafts and Me

Hi Peeps,

I'm running a tad behind, puppy classes last night and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with little Ollie.  Apart from being sooooo very excited to see everyone, once he has calmed down he is obeying pretty darn well, if I say so myself, lol, well with the exception of knicking the odd toilet roll, dirty socks and underwear, lol.

I was out Monday evening with my daughter and some friends to see Physic Sally.  I must say I hadn't really been into the "Mediums" but watched a couple of Sally's shows and wanted to see it for myself.  It was a little slow to begin with but put that down to people not wanting to stand up and say "that could be me", but by the second half she was flying, and there was so many things she connected with the audience with that I have to say I believe she really has a gift.

OK from Mediums to circles, lol. The challenge set by the lovely Teresa at Crafts and Me Challenges is to use a circle somewhere on your project.  I was going to do a shaped card when I looked at my colouring and realised I had incorporated a circle already in the moon, so job done.  The image is called Sea Star by Jasmine Becket Griffith.

Photo's aren't terribly good so I think I will retake in good light, just not sure when that will be.  Hair appointments for all tonight!

I am particularly proud of the sea, which I created using copics, prismas and my white gel pen.

I'll pop back with an ingredients list as it's late and I am sooooo very tired.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-
Crafty Sentiments - Things with Wings
My Time to Craft - Doilies/Flowers

Made with Love

Hi Peeps,

This is a card I made for my daughter, just reminds me of when she was growing up, all cute, and now she's all grown up, but still cute.

The image I have chosen is Emma Pot Plant by Lili of the Valley.

The beautiful papers are by Pion and are my favourite papers at the moment. As usual I placed my papers against my copic chart in order to choose the best matching copic colours to the papers. The elegant circle frame is from Make It Crafty HERE, they match perfectly with your spellbinders nestabilities and finish the image beautifully.

All panels were sewn using my sewing machine.

The little roses are Marianne Design available HERE and the punch is called "Frond" by Martha Stewart and is available by request from BunnyZoe. The beautiful lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Isn't she a little cutie?

The border is a Magnolia Doohickey Sweet Lovely Lace available HERE and the little tag is again a Magnolia Doohickey So Wrapped Lovely available HERE. The sentiment is from Stempleglede and are difficult to get hold of in the UK, I wish I had more of these stamps.

and these are the copics that I used.

Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.

Hi Peeps,

Hope you all had a fab weekend, and if your in the UK, wasn't the weather fabulous.  I was out walking Ollie and it was lovely to see lots of people out, kids playing football and cricket, made me feel all summery and speakimg of summer I really need to get my ass in gear and get back to my fitness regime and diet.  I've struggled ever since I had flu, in fact 6 weeks on and I'm still partially death in one ear.

Today it's challenge time at BunnyZoe and the theme is shabby chic.  Here's what I came up with.....

Sorry it's a bit picture heavy, I got carried away
