Let's Be Jolly

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all having a good weekend and an extended one if you are in the UK.  Before I get onto my post, just in case you missed the newsletter or facebook announcement, we currently have many stamps at 50% off for this weekend, ending tonight so if you are interested head over here for all the details.  Oh, wait, check out my post first, lol.

So today I decided to make a christmas card using Pion Design's new collection "Let's Be Jolly".  Links as always at the bottom of the post.

I layered the papers onto two sheets of Pion Design Palette in Red and Pion White.

I added Scrapiniec Misletoe Big Decors and added shabby white rusty bells and a wax cord bow.

The image is from the same collection, Images from the Past.  I added a little shabby white frantage for the snow effect on the image.

The poinsettia was made using Silk Suite White Foam and glistening berries and frosted pomegranates for the centres. I added fir branches using the Fantasy Die Set.  I cut these from the Pion Design Palette Green and added gesso to give a frosty look.

Hope you like it.

Mintay Marina

Hello Crafters,

I'm sharing a card today made using Mintay Marina papers.  The image is also from the set.

I used The Scrap Man Dies for the doily (top left) and the frame that the image is layered onto.

I added a pearl encrusted starfish in the small floral display (top right)

On the large floral display I used the new Foam Clusters, they reminded me of coral from the sea.  I added a few flowers, seashells and a vintage anchor charm.

I also added some Fisherman's Netting to help set the scene.

Hope you like it :)

Life is NOT Peachy

Hi Everyone,

I rustled up another quick card for me yesterday, boy it's like a sauna in my craft room, so I need to be quick before I melt, lol.

So today's card was made using the Pion Design paper collection Life is Peachy but as you will see there are a varierty of colours that you can mix/match or remain monochromatic.

The image is also from Pion Design Grandma's Attic Tinted called Bouquet.

The chipboard stave with birds on is by Wycinanka and as always links can be found at the bottom.

I added a lace butterfly and removed the single pearl and replaced with a button Alexis.  I also used the leaf pearl trim.

I added a little frantage in shabby white here and there.

The floral bouquet is made up of roses, berries and pomegranates with a flower rhinestone button in the centre.

I cut some leaves using a scrap man leaves die set and Pion Design White I cardstock and used a Gallery Turquoise pastel to colour them.

Hope you like it.
