No paper, No Image

Hi Peeps,

I've had a lovely few days away in Swanage, in the South West of England.  It was a lovely break and we were so lucky with the weather, 29-30 degrees. It's been difficult trying to get back into crafting as it is so hot in my craftroom, but we've waited so long for this weather to arrive so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Something a little different from me today, no paper and no image but I do like how it turned out.  I have used the Marianne Design new release dies and aren't they beautiful, full list and links below. You know I'm partial to a little black and white in my images so I thought I'd try this out with black and white cardstock.

Ahoy There

Hi Peeps,

I have been busy with another fabulous Make It Crafty 3D Chipboard Kit, the Boat Shelf.  It was soooo easy to put together, literally 10 minutes and then my favourite part started, the decorating began.  I painted the boat with some black acrylic paint mixed with some white to create grey.  I then added  strokes of a darker shade of grey and some white with an almost dry brush, by applying the paint and taking the majority of the paint off.

I also printed a Make It Crafty Treasure Map and popped it on the top shelf.

And I add some Make It Crafty Chipboard Cogs and leaves, Marianne Design Creatables Shells and Anchor and added some micro beads too.

It was such a fun project, I'm loving the all the 3D projects that Zoe keeps coming up with.
Make It Crafty Products Used
Marianne Design Rope
Stamps by Magnolia
Microbeads

I off to the Coast for a few days for a definitely well earned break, but I'll be back soon.

Anything Goes at Marianne's Diva's

Happy Sunday Peeps, the sun is shining.

It's Anything Goes at Marianne's Divas this week and we have some awesome prizes as usual, don't forget to win the prizes you must use a Marianne Design product on your card, but I'm sure that won't be hard with all that is available, dies, stamps, lace, rose ribbon and more.

Sorry if I've not visited you of late but I don't know if I mentioned we were having our kitchen refitted.  It's not a new kitchen but it is to us.  My sister works for someone who was having a new £30K kitchen fitted and to be honest there was nothing wrong with their old Moben kitchen, so we had it for £100. It was too good an opportunity to pass up, but I then wanted to replace the worktops and thought this is probably the closest I'll come to having a new kitchen, so thought I'd have a new sink or two as well lol... and as I can't afford to pay a professional Hubby and my BIL are fitting it, so it's taking a long time inbetween working and alot of cleaning up when I get in from work, so my blogging time has been reduced, but I will get round to you all sooner or later, so don't give up on me.

And what no paper........ I created the background using the Marianne Design Clear Cling Paris Set of Stamps and some distress inks and got inky.....

Background and clock created with Marianne Design Clear Cling Paris Set of Stamps (just ask Nikki if at BunnyZoe if you are interested in purchasing these clear sets of stamps)
Image Marianne Designs 3D Cutting Sheet (just as Nikki at BunnyZoe if you are interested in purchasing these)

Don't forget 15% off Envelope and 6 3/4 Boxes through to Monday.

Have a fab Sunday everyone.

Beautiful Tilda

Morning Peeps,

I fell in love with this little Magnolia stamp, isn't she just a darling.  I've used quite dramatic colours but I really like how it has turned out.

I found the large black flower in my stash which I have had for years so decided to make a feature out of it by adding some beautiful pink lace and a bouquet of flowers.

The paper is so beautiful, it is by Maya and I have fell in love with them and will definitely be adding more to my collection.

Tilda of course is colouring using copics. I have used BV20 for the shading on the skin, a little tip from my friend Jane.

The little tag pulls out and is adorned with beautiful May butterfly paper.

Copics used:-
Skin BV20, E00, E01, E11, E000, E0000
Cheeks: R22 blended with E00
Dress: R83, R81, RV10
Shoes and Hair: C7, C5, C3
Wings: C5, C3, C1, C0

I hope I have inspired you today.
