Winter & Some Sad News

Hi Everyone,

It's been a little while since my last post and for those of you who follow me on facebook you will know that last Thursday I lost my gorgeous little furbaby, Ollie.  He was only 4 and it all happened so quick.  I have been totally devastated and the house just isn't the same.  Whilst I was looking for the photos of my card I came across these pictures of Ollie over his 4 years, so I've been looking, laughing and yes....crying.  This little doggie has left such a big hole in my heart, I miss him so much. He was the most friendliest and handsome I have ever come across.

R.I.P my little one.

 ======================================================================

Now onto today's card and hopefully the tears will stop  This card is one that I made for the Oslo card class. I have used papers from Pion Design's Christmas in Norway collection, aren't they just gorgeous.

The image has been coloured using Distress Inks.

A beautiful layered card, Tracy - great to see a hAnglar image again, too. So sorry to hear about your wee dog; we lost our old Labrador a couple of weeks ago so I know how you must be feeling. Ollie was obviously very well looked after and much loved, so you can take some comfort from having given him a good life. Hugs xx

I am so sorry about Ollie - I would have a big hole in my heart too.

Your Christmas card is a work of beauty. Every little detail adds to the breauty of this treasure. I will be studying it for a good while. Every time I look at it I see something I did not see before.
I hope creating artwork like this will help you find peace.

Oh Tracy, I am so very, VERY sorry for your loss! I'm sitting here with tears for you, too! I know how much a human can fall in love with a fur baby. The loss of one is like losing a child. You'll see him again. I have to believe that - it has given me hope.

XO,
Chris

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your dog.
In time your pain will decrease, but take the time to greef, I think that's important...
One of the worst things that have happened in my life was loosing our dog. But, my dog was almost 14 years old, not 4.
It took me 3 years before I was ready for a new dog, but when we got him, my life was complete again. He's all that Odin was, and more.. Argos love's to lay down on our lap, in our bed (yes, don't tell anyone) And because he's in the bed he always smells like fabricsoftner :o) *lol* He's now 3,5 years old and the best dog in the world...(of course)
Lot's of good thoughts from me to you.

Loved to attend in your christmas card class in Oslo. Great layout and a lot of new ways to embellish and make the layout of the card...
Will definitely make a try on my own.

Kind regards from Kaia/Karianne
