Christmas Tales

Morning Everyone,

I have another christmas card for you today and the image is called Two Tales by Whimsy Stamps and I have to say, aren't they cute!

I decided not to go with traditional colours and use blue, cream and white, which is one of my favourite colour combos.

I have used the whimsy snowflake border die all around the edge.  The gorgeous crotcheted doilie is just fabulous, love them.

I stamped the Kaisercraft text out onto accetate and then added little irridescent flat bead centres.

Shabby Christmas

Hi Everyone,

Monday again and were getting even closer to Christmas and I still have loads to get done and can you believe that I actually started in July.  Well I'm going to be even more prepared next year.  The new Maja Design  Frost Basics have hit LLC and I am armed with my 12x12's and also the 6x6 paper pad, a must, as I am going to be continuing with winter/christmas cards over the christmas and every month next year to ensure I am well ahead, so if you want to me more like me, make sure you stock up on the pads from LLC whilst stock lasts.

So onto the theme that the girls at LLC will be following and this week it's Shabby Christmas. I have used an Angel image by lili of the valley, coloured with copics and snow tex added, well it is shabby and you know how I love my snow tex.

The papers are from the newest release Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics 3rd December, 4th December and the postcard is cut from the diet cut sheet, love this.  Papers have been edged with white gesso and a touch of distress crackle paint in picket white.

The flower display consists of white poppies, 20mm, 15mm and 10mm roses, white flower spray and the gorgeous lilac berries.  I have added a wooden key to the wooden cage that the Prima resin fairy is sitting on.  The cage is tied with vintage seam binding in white and finished with a vintage brad.

The the post card is from the MayaDesign Frost Basics Die Cut Sheet and I added a prima clock paperclip and one of the mini wooden stars.  Can you also see the new prima resin corner from the ceiling ornamental and corner pack, so so love these.

I added the Merry Christmas text to a mini spool and added some of the wooden stars painted in crackle paint.  Along the bottom is my favourite pearl trim.

Another close up of the fairy sitting on the cage.

And an artsy view.

Penny's Walkies

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend, can't believe it's already Sunday, mind you can't believe it's only about 4 weeks to Christmas, eeeek.  We went into Milton Keynes late yesterday to watch the new film out "Hunger Games" and parking was already mental and this will be the last time we go on a Saturday, I hate all the crowds of christmas shoppers.

Today's card is using one of the Candibean images being released on Monday by Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.

The papers are also by Little Darlings called petals and lace, love the colour combinations in this pad.

I have used the Noor Design snowflake border, snowflake dies and added black soot to the edges.

Flowers are from wild orchid crafts available from Live and Love Crafts, kortandgodt, LLC flower spray and berries.  Lots of gesso.  I have used liquid applique for the snow and snow tex added to the top.

Below is the new die by Noor Design being released today.  The centre of the flower is made by using a Marianne Design rolled flower die.

Tilda's Stocking

Hi Everyone,

I'm back so soon with another Christmas card and this time a Magnolia Christmas card.  The image is called "The Day Before Christmas Stocking Tilda" and coincidentally I have used the Magnolia paper also called "The Day Before Xmas 12x12". Tilda has been coloured with Copic markers.

I have used the fabulous crotcheted doily in cream, don't know how I couldn't have noticed these before in the store. I have used the Kaisercraft pearl flourishes cascading up from the bottom right flower arrangement.

The flower display on the top right consists of Kaisercraft paper blooms in olive, works fabulously with the red.  I have also used the magnolia doohickey sprawling ferns die for the foilage.

The tag at the top has been cut from another magnolia doohickey, definitely a favourite of mine, so wrapped lovely and a snowflake charm attached.

Lastly I have finished off with a Kaisercraft sentiment stamp from the Holly, Bright and Peace set.

Amongst the flowers I have used some wild orchid craft flowers, all available from Live and Love Crafts; carnation, flower spray, pine cones.

The gorgeous lace is from the Ribbon Girl.

The die around Tilda is a new die from Noor Design being released on 24th November, I'm sure Crafts U Love will be stocking this, isn't it gorgeous.
