It Started With a Kiss.......

Morning Crafters,

How was your weekend? Mine flew by as usual, boring housework, blah blah blah.  We did drive to the national trust area to walk Ollie but as soon as we started our walk the heavens opened.  We took cover under the trees several times but eventually returned to the car and as soon as we did, it stopped, blooming weather!  I did manage to fit in a  little crafting.  I actually think my mojo has returned, yayyyyyy.

The DT over at Live and Love Crafts this week are following the theme of Romance.  I have used the Kort and Godt Vintage wedding sheet for the main image and also cut out the head and shoulders of the two people in the Melissa Frances clay frame from the same sheet.  My thinking was..... It was a couple looking back in time and hence my title of..... "It Started with a kiss", oh bless me aren't I a romantic......

Did you notice the new Melissa Frances hanger, OMG I have been waiting ages for these and each time Sandy tried to order they were out of stock, so if you want one, grab one now whilst stock lasts.  Link at the bottom of the post.

The papers, oh my the papers, aren't they just sooooo gorgeous, I know you must be bored of me saying that but I just soooo love them.  Anyway I have used two, MayaDesign Vintage Summer Basics 1905 and Vintage Spring Basics 6th March.

Look at the new beautiful, beautiful lace and the pearl beaded trim as well, two of my new favourites.  I do love the wider lace.

The butterflies are also cut from the Kort and Godt Vintage Wedding sheet and the Kort and Godt Vintage Men, aren't they just gorgeous. The frame around the main image is by Marianne Design.

Yes, I have used some frantage again, and my goodness my video has had well over a 1,000 views and I'm still receiving emails, so thank you all for your support, I am staggered, I really am.

Here's a close up of the beautiful double Mellissa Frances frame, it comes as part of a set.  I rubbed my finger in some tumbled glass distress ink over the contours of the framework and then sprinkled a little frantage.
Here's a close up of one of the Kort and Godt butterflies cut from the sheet and I added a pen nib with the word "thoughts" on it.

Thank you for any comments you may leave today.  As usual all links are below and remember to check back tomorrow to see what our Tina has in store for us.

The amount of detail you manage to fit on a card my friend - such an awesome creation!!!
(makes mine look so plain & boring!)
I think my favourite part has to be the pen nib butterfly - that is just soo cute.

Well well well...you've ve created so many gorgeous cards and projects for LLC, but if I'd only have to pick one favourite, I think this would be my choice. I just love the shabby chicness of this card, your creative use of the MF resin frames, the fantastic layering and how greatly the cardboard matches the paper. Shabby chic heaven! Sandy xx
