Alma's Sewing Room

Morning,

Where did the weekend go? Saturday was a blur, had one of those in and out days during the day, food shopping and visiting MIL and then I had my Sister's family for dinner and I made cupcakes and a roulade so spent 4 hours in the kitchen and had sore feet by the end of the evening.  Dear Hubby did all the clearing up, bless him. It's my Daughter's 21st, so another busy week for me.  I'm behind with commenting, but hope to get caught up in my lunch hours this week.

It's a new week and a new theme for the DT girls at Live Love Crafts and today starts a new theme, which is definitely a favourite of mine, and the Teams, yayyyyy it's "Pion Design, Alma's Sewing Room".

The image is from the 12x12 Image sheet and  I have used both sides of Blue Fabric 12x12. I cut the blue ticket out of the Images 12x12 sheet and tucked it under the floral oval and also cut out circles from the 12x12 tags.  All have been distressed with gesso and walnut stain distress ink.

For the inside I have used the Blue Room 6 x 6.  I created a pocket on the left hand side and used the 12x12 Borders to edge the top of the pocket and added some gorgeous crotched cream  lace. The tags were created using the Images 12x12 and Tags 12x12.

On the right hand side I added one of the new charms and the new Resin Cameo.

And here's the back of my card using the Ladies Wardrobe 12x12.

So full of details, so beautifully put together. It's not often I can say this, but I love the inside as much as the outside! The Cameo looks gorgeous in that vintage frame, and what a perfect use of the papers and tags. Brilliant work, Tracy.

Sandy
