Something Old at Live and Love Crafts

Hi Peeps,

I hope you have all had a lovely christmas.  I have enjoyed a lovely break from crafting whilst swapping rooms with my Son, Hubby has put my triple storage unit together and yesterday put up my magnetic boards for my dies, so I am ready to start 2013 and am sooo excited as this is my first  DT card for Live and Love Crafts.  The challenges start on the 1st of every month and this month's theme is "Old.  I have chosen to use a Vintage image from Pion Papers Grandma's Attic called "Romance", beautiful.

Look at all those gorgeous embellishments, all links are below, but if you love embellishments then Live and Love Crafts is the shop for you.

Oh do you see those gorgeous little spools.  I cut the word Vintage out of the Riddersholm Design Paper "Notes" and rolled it around the little spools, soooo cute. Oh and look at those flowers and the pearl centre, oh and oh and oh, can you tell how excited I am about these gorgeous embellies, lol.

I also cut the tag from Riddersholm Design paper and added some vintage seam binding and lace and a pearl brad.

I also added a vintage dress form clip to the decorated inside.

Ingredients:-

I would like to wish all my followers a Happy and Healthy New Year and thank you for following me in 2012 and hope that you will continue to visit in 2013.  It's almost my blog anniversary so I will be looking out for Candy to share with you soon.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:-
Bearly Mine - Something old (vintage photo) and something new (embellishments)
Pile it on - Embellishments
Robyn's Fetish - Use a doily

Hugs Tracy x

Sorry it's taken me so long to get around leaving a comment here on your blog, Tracy, but I believe I already told you when you e-mailed me the pics what a fantastic creation I think this is. What I didn't tell you though was that I spent a good 10 minutes looking at it...well that was after I had climbed back up on my chair...:-) There's just so much to discover on this card..good thing I had your list and could go "embellishment hunting". :-) Honestly, I don't have enough superlatives for this one!!!

Hugz,
Sandy

Masterpiece of a card Tracy - have spent ages looking at all its WONDERFUL details!

I'd be very grateful if you could say which die you used to cut the white background curvy cardstock - it is a beautiful shape. Nicola x

Came over from Live and Love Crafts for another look at your extraordinary card... perfect colour combination, in my book - and the details, and textures (distressed corrugated card - my favourite!) and of course those gorgeous papers - it's all just too wonderful!
