Old Time Tilda

Morning Peeps,

I had a lovely day off on Monday with my Husband, although this now seems an age away and in need of another.  I feel so naughtly having a day off with no particular reason but I haven't had a lot of time off work this year and he is currently doing a night shift working 6-6 so we currently like ships that pass in the night!  I have just got in from netball and am keen to get back to my book.  My kids have got me into the Twilight Books..... I'm currently 80 pages from the end of Book 2, New Moon, so a quick post and I'm off to bed.

Today's card is my very first attempt at colouring the whole image in sepia and I have to say for those of you who know me, I usually shy away from anything monochromatic, but I'm really beginning to like it.

I have coloured Tilda using copic markers, E44, E43, E42, E40 and E000.  The edges of the circle are distressed with walnut stain and of course I couldn't be without my stickles!

Materials Used:-
Image stamped on Cryogen white and coloured using Copics
Papers are from Bearly Mine CD as is the sentiment
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Doily, ribbon and lace from stash
Martha Stewart Border Punch from Crafts and Me
Martha Stewart Frond Punch

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Paper Sundaes - Something from your stash
Totally Tilda - Glitter and sparkle
Cute Card Thursday - Clock or Time (past)
Alphabet - W for Wings (Tilda has sparkly wings)
Stampin for the weekend - Autumn inspiration
Raise the bar - Flower, 2 Ribbons/fibres, lots of leaves
Catch the bug - Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin - Punches
Gingerloft- Glitter or bling

Amazing coloring and a stunning card.

I hope you are enjoying the books! My dh & I read them last summer; we are firmly in Team Edward's camp; though if I had only seen the movies and not read the books first, I would have liked Jacob nearly as much :)
