Hope is in the Fairy inside you

Evening Peeps,

A bit late with this posting, I was trying to get this card done last night but I was working on it from 7pm to 10:15 and then the light wasn't good and I had another post to write and time and energy for that matter just ran away with me.  Anyhow I'm here now and I do hope the photography does this card justice and my time, lol!  The image used, which is called the Love Fairy Blessing,  is one of the new "Crafts and Me" range of their very own stamps and this one is by Sara Burrier and I'm sure you will agree is Gorgeous with a capital "G".

I have coloured her using copics and used distress ink broken china for the background.  I used my sewing machine again to stitch the large panel, woo hoo, I even tackled a more complex stitch.  Are you impressed?  I am, lol, probably not easy to see but it has a small zig zag and then every couple it has a big one!

I distressed all the edges and added distress ink walnut stain and diamond stickles.  Flowers are from wild orchid crafts accompanied with a martha stewart frond punch for the leaves.  The sentiment is from TLC and says, "Hope is the Fairy inside you".

Don't forget to pop over to the Crafts and Me Store to see all the new "Crafts and Me" stamps featuring the artists Sara Burrier, Hannah Lynn and Molly Harrison.  And at the moment Crafts and Me are offering 10% off until 1st August for Readers, so hop on over!

Last Challenge at Karen's Doodles UK - White on White

Good Morning Peeps,

Sadly this is the last time I will be saying....... It's time for another Karen's Doodles UK Challenge.  Today is the last one for the current team.  I have enjoyed my time at Karen's Doodles working with all these fun images and design team members and I sincerely thank Ann and Joey for all their hardwork keeping the blog going and keeping all us girls in check.  I would also like to thank Sandy, who behind the scenes provided us all with the fabulous images that we chose.

Now, this week's challenge is white on white, are you mad Karen's Doodles, I don't do white on white, lol.  I found this task particularly hard but then again, you could say I chickened out as white to me meant Christmas and I have been wanting to make one of these gift candles for ages so straight away thought this could be white on white..... what do ya think?

I have chosen "First Taste of Snow" available from Karen's Shop HERE.  I printed her onto tissue paper and and coloured her using copics.  I then placed her on the candle and used my heat gun.  You have to keep it moving to ensure you don't melt the wax.   I added lots of Diamond stickles so she is very sparkly and also dotted them around so we have sparkly snow.

The circle on the top was embossed using one of the cuttlebug folders and came out fab as I used white satin card.  The poinsetta on the top is a Marianne Design Die and cuts beautifully.  I used foam pads to 3D it and added a little pearl to the centre and lots and lots of Diamond stickles, so this is a really glistening Christmas Candle and a fab gift.  I also used a Martha Stewart Border punch and addes lace from my stash and white ribbon for the bow tied with my Boweasy.

Please pop over to see all my fabulous teamies and don't forget to enter the challenge.

I have entered this candle into the following challenges:-

Create 4 Fun - Flowers (poinsetta)
Cupcake Craft - Pastel Christmas
Charisma Cardz - Anything but Square
Delightful Sketches - Simple
Karen's Doodles Netherlands - White on White
Karen's Doodles USA - White on White
Nutty Nutshells - Anything but a card
Digital Tuesday - Dazzle Me
ABC Challenge - P for Presents (this candle) + Lace

Thanks for stopping by.

Over at Karen's Doodles this week the challenge is to make a shaped card and I thought what better than to make another Christmas Card to get ahead of the game again, lol.  I chose to use one of the WS Designs templates and added a nestie in the middle just to make it different and those of you who know me, will know that I like to be different.

I have chosen good old Bigsby Swinging Lights, I just love Bigsby.  You can get him from HERE.  Please pop over and check out the other Doodle Princesses creations HERE and remember to enter you must use a Karen's Dooles image.

Molly Harrison at Crafts and Me

Happy Saturday Peeps,

Apologies to my first 3 followers this morning. I was awaiting the launch date and it changed so I just put my photo on ready and scheduled the date as the 10th and didn't add any text so was quite surprised this morning to see some comments on my Molly Harrison card, as I had completely forgot I had it scheduled  it and also was surprised that I hadn't done any text.  So much for being organised, lol.

Anyway, enough babbling, here is one of the Gorgeous new releases over at Crafts and Me of the Molly Harrison stamps. Very detailed but I am sure you will all think she's worth it. Check out the other Molly Harrison and Hannah Lynn stamps exclusive to Teresa at Crafts and Me and I do believe they are flying out the door, so don't leave it too long. If you look at the post before this one you will see one of the Hannah Lynn stamps, not to be missed.......

I have coloured the image using copics and used Tim Holtz distress inks for the background.  The Design Papers are basic grey.  I have added a swirly black rub on and gorgeous flowers from wild orchid crafts which have been distresswed with walnut stain ink and stickles glitter glue added.  The leaves are from one of the Marianne Dies, the poinsetta, which is embossed.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Paper Sundaes - Lots of layers
Just Hannah & Friends - Unused Stamps
Crazy Challenge - Up in the air
Little Paper Shop - Olive, Orchid & Raspberry

Last but not least my DT card using the brand new and exclusive Hannah Lynn Stamps...... woo hoo...

Please pop over to the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog to see the otheer Design Team creations using the new releases and also the Crafts and Me Shop where you will be able to purchase these new yummy stamps.  If they are not listed then please keep popping back, I know Teresa is doing her hardest to try and list them all.

For this weeks challenge at Crafts and Me, the lovely Teresa has chosen the wonderful striking theme of Pink, Black and White.  Awesome!

The above Hannah Lynn stamp is a deeply etched red rubber stamp with thick lines, really fab, I know you won't be disappointed.  I have coloured her using copics on cryogen cardstock. OMG, this cardstock is just brilliant and will probably never be captured in the photo but it is slightly irridescent so has that beautiful shine to it.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Pollycraft - Sketch
My Time To Craft - Angelic Image
One Stop Craft - Distressing
Prarie Fairy - Anything Goes
A Pocketful of Posies - One for the Girls

Clean and Simple at Karen's Doodles

Me again Peeps, nearly done for the day,

Over at Karen's Doodles the Doodle Princesses have been tasked with the theme of "Clean and Simple".  A hard task for me, I'm busy, busy, busy, lots of sparkle, glitz and flowers. To top that, I chose this really fun Soccer Boy image, lol.  I really enjoyed bringing him to life and we all need boy/men cards in our box don't we, so this is one for the box!

I have coloured him with copics and added some diamond glaze to the frog in his pocket to make him glisten and pop out, but I know you can't see this in the picture so you will just have to believe me.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Cupcake Craft - World Cup Wonders
Kaboodledoodles - Celebrate Summer
Crazy 4 Challenges - Up in the Air
Prarie Fairy - Anything Goes
Wee Memories - Free for All

GD Sketch for Pixie Cottage

Good Morning Peeps,

I was thrilled recently when Michelle from The Pixie Cottage contacted me and asked me to be a Guest Designer for the month of July.  Of course I said yes, I just love their sketches and their stamps.  If you haven't visited before then please pop over to The Pixie Cottage Blog here, and Michelles Online Store for all Pixie Cottage Stamps and More HERE.  Below is the sketch that I followed with an added Aperture somewhere on your card.  I chose to add a circular aperture right in the middle of my card:-

The Stamp I used is of course a Pixie Cottage Stamp, Gorgeous isn't it.  I have lots of sparkle which unfortunately you can't see very well.  I used Swaroski Crystals so this card really has a Twinkle, Twinkle effect.  I have also used my sewing machine again, lol.

The above picture is the inside of the card where you can see quite clearly the cutout aperture, which I did with my nesties.  Not an easy task though as I had quite of few layers to get through and my new cutting spacer plate hadn't arrived in time.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

My Time To Craft - Angelic Image
Crafty Angels - Circle and Square
Bunny Zoe - Nice and Girly
Alphabet Challenge - J for Jewels
Prarie Fairy - Anything Goes
Wee Memories - Free for All
A pocketful of posies - One for The Girls

Thanks for popping by.
