Happy Anniversary

Hi All,

During our holiday to Florida it will be my Sister and Brother in Law's 25th wedding anniversary and this is a little different for a reason.  We will be going up in a hot air balloon to see the beautiful sun rise in Florida and it was our present to my sister and brother-in-law so it seemed fitting to make them a card to remember the ocassion.

I used the beautiful papers from Reprint.  All links at the bottom.

I tried to keep it relatively simple.  The centrepiece is a Fantasy Balloon painted with Gesso in white with a few flowers and butterflies from the Reprint paper.

Happy PURRthday

Hi Everyone,

I am sharing a card made for my Sister's birthday.  She prefers clean and simple so this is my take and I have to say I am in love with the Magical Slider Die Set by LDRS.  Be prepared to see more of these.

I thought it was going to take ages but it really is so easy.

Pull the tab to reveal the coloured image.

The papers are from the Cotton Candy paper pad.

The Die set also includes lots of embellishment dies.  I used the flags :)

Hope you like it

More Than Words

Hello everyone,

I have something a little different than my usual card.  Pion Design are sponsoring the More Than Words challenge blog this month so my project is following this month's theme.  The Word Inspiration is "JOURNEY" and the Creative Challenge is a "MAP".  I decided to combine them both into my canvas.

When thinking about the journey my mind wondered to my Dad.  He was a soldier in the World War II and this was the only time that he travelled ever in his entire life.  He visited Singapore, India and beyond.  Once he returned from the War he never set foot back on a plane.  It makes you think of what soldiers went through and indeed still do.  He didn't like to talk about it at all and in fact until my Father's funeral service I didn't even know he had been shot in the leg.  So my project for me was to include a map of the world in recognition of the only journey my dad took  in his lifetime.  I hope you like it.

I used Pion Design's The World Awaits collection of papers, if you are interested in these please email me.

I had great fun working on this canvas.  My picture is framed in a Prima frame.  All products listed at the bottom of the page.

Happy 21st

Hi everyone,

I'm sharing a card I made recently for my niece using LDRS Creative Lovely Lilac's 6x6 paper pad.  The image is called Sending Wishes stamped out using the hybrid ink Raven.  All links as usual are at the end of this post.

I used the LDRS Versatile Windows and Doors.  I can see many uses for this die set.  New home,  Christmas and Birthdays to name but a few.

I added lace behind the windows and panels in the door :)

I used the Lampost and Railings die set  You can see the lampost to the left in the above picture.

The railings can be see to the right with meadow spray and 20mm open roses and Scrapiniec branches.

I just love the little envelopes, so cute.

You will find all the products in the Crafteezee Shop.
