I have coloured this image in using Twinkling H2O's, and I have also sprayed the whole card in glimmer mist, I just love sparkle.  And to add that extra bit of sparkle I have added stickles star dust to the flowers.  I don't think the camera has caputred it all but in reality it really sparkles.  I have used a Martha Stewart Heart punch and a small paper doily and metal corners for that added touch.  Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the beaded swirls are from my stach.  The design papers are Bo Bunny, fab papers.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Flutterby Wednesday - Butterfly, Fairy or Angel
Colour Create - Pastels
Cute Card Thursday - Dimension

The prizes are absolutely fantastic and I wish I could enter myself :( Here's a reminder of what the prizes are:-
1st Prize
2nd Prize

Hip Hop Myrtle Turtle

I'm back again this morning,

Today I am announcing that I was chosen to be on another design team, "Cooking It Up With Katie". Katie for a while now has managed on her own, but she has called in reinforcements to help and today's the day that the new design team is revealed, and yep, you've guessed it, I'm on it!  Katie's challenge is every other Wednesday, so you have plenty of time to create and enter.

Today's challenge is sponsored by Digital Delights, and I was the happy recipient of Hip Hop Myrtle the Turtle. Isn't he fab. The recipe for the challenge is as follows:-

Something old
Something new
Something sweet

I have used papers that are at least two years old, probably longer. They came in a kit that I just haven't got round to using. My somethng new is my delightful ditital image from  Digital Delights and my something sweet, which can be in image form or in the design papers, are the lolipops and ice-creams on the papers and a popsicle that I placed in his hand.

I have coloured him using copics, he's sooo cute and entered him into the following challenges:-

Blue Eye Fairy

Evening Peeps,

I haven't been well this week and am a little behind on all my DT cards. I actually finished this card last night, but the lighting was so bad that I couldn't get a decent picture. I cannot say that I am that pleased with it and certainly doesn't do this card justice. Time pemitting I may try again tomorrow, lol. I'm such a perfectionist.

Well I hope you have all had a good week and are really looking forward to the launch of the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog, Woo Hoo, not long now. Better get a move on with my DT card and the other 4 I have to get done this weekend, eeeeek!

This image is one of the lovely Sweetpea Stamps, Blue Eye Fairy:-

I have painted this image using distress inks, tattered rose, worn lipstick, spiced marmalade, vintage photo, walnut stain, shabby shutters. The design papers are Bo Bunny. I have used a Fiskars border punch, for a change, and embellished with flowers from wild orchid crafts. The branch is a Martha Stewart punch and I have added lots of star dust stickles, again nor borne out well in the photo.

I have entered this card into the Create 4 Fun Challenge - Sketch

Well I hope you like it.

The DP papers are the new Bo Bunny Glitter papers, they are fab but I believe are limited edition. The image is a Karen Doodle "A Friend in need" and I have coloured with copics. I am still limited on the number of copics I have so I had to make a few colours up!  The sentiment is from Allissa's Paper Town.

DT Card for Crafts and Me

Morning Peeps,

Well peeps, I can't tell you how glad I am that it's FRIDAY, yayyyyyyy.  Been a really busy week at work as well as trying to keep up with my crafting, netball, and being a wife and mum.  I need a lay in tomorrow, lol.  Here is my Design Team card  for Stamps and Me which is of course one of the Sweet Pea Stamps, Dance of Butterfly, available right HERE from Teresa. These stamps are just so adorable.  The sentiment is also from the same sheet no. 6, Fantasy Art Collection. As you know Teresa has the exclusive UK rights to sell these so you can only get them from CRAFTS AND ME. They are a dream to colour and the more stamps I see the more I want, so be warned they are addictive.

I have used copic markers to colour her in and layered onto bazill cardstock. The DP is from Kay and Co. The flower is prima and the leaves are cut out on Quickutz and inked with distress inks. I used the sizzlets die for the filagree corners.  The lace is from Crafty Stash and the pearls are from my stash. And lastly but not least, the little key. Well I love the little key. This is the air dry clay which you pop into a mould and leave. That's it, pop it out, paint it, ink it, whatever you like. And guess what? They are available from Crafts and Me!

Don't forget we have the brand new launch of the Crafts and Me Challenge site launching on the 31st March and were looking forward to hopping onto all your blogs to see your beautiful creations.

Sophisticats New Beginnings

Evening Peeps,

I'm probably the last member of the Sophisticats Team to publish but it's been a longggggggggggg week. Becky, the young lady in my office has left us to have a baby and so I thought this card and baby bouquet would be pretty apt for the Sophisticats New Beginnings Challenge this week. The design team have done a fab job, but don't take my word for it, hop on over a take look for yourself. Were looking forward to what you can create and Lisa has a fab prize for you.  I love this theme as you will see below as I have a few examples for you:-

The Baby bouquet was an idea given to me the day before Becky left and once the idea was in my head, I knew I just had to do it.  So I ran round ragid in my lunch hour and came up with very little so left work at 4pm and set off to the shops nearer to home.  Below is the result.  All the blue flowers are baby clothes, a little jumpsuit, vest, bib, booties, mittens and a hat.  Isn't it just fab!

I know the above is enough but I had to make a Baby Girl card for someone so thought I would throw this in the hat too........

I have entered these cards into the following challenges:-

Pollycraft - Sparkly Things
Quirky Crafts - Cute and Buttons (love heart button on pram on sentiment)
One Stop Craft - Spots and Dots
Creative Card Crew - Celebrations
Oh La La - Anything Goes

It's as light as a feather and you can paint it, ink it, whatever you like. Both the clay and mould, as well as other moulds are available from Crafts and Me.
