Harley and Hayley

Hi Everyone,

I'm back again and I have used the gorgeous Little Darlings Saturated Canary Harley and Haley, isn't this image gorgeous. I have also used the Petals and Lace 6x6 Paper Pad again but this time used the combination of the lilac's and grey, love this combination.

I have coloured the image with Tim Holtz distress markers.  The word FRIEND has been stamped from the Warm Fuzzies USE YOUR WORDS sentiment set, cut out and layered onto the bark heart.

Chocolate and Coffee

Morning Everyone,

Sunday already, and hopefully a crafting day for me.  I've not had the best of weeks, with the Home requesting a DNR form to be completed for my MIL and my Mum deciding she no longer needs carers and then my bank card being used fraudulently, so crafting time has been on the back burner so hopefully today I can lock myself away and get caught up.

Soooooo, just look at this yummy picture........ ummmmm.  Would go well with a cup of coffee, right.  Well this photo is the inspiration photo over at The Ribbon Girl colour challenge for the month of October and when I saw this picture I just had to jump at the opportunity to guest again.  As some of you will know, monochromatic used to scare me, but now I just love it, especially the browns, my favourite mono colours.

So here's what I came up.  Not 100% happy with the colouring but I ran out of time :(  The little Angel is by CCDesigns from their latest release.  I have edged all the papers with walnut distress ink and added some shabby white frantage around the image.

I have used one of the snowflake pins, my oh my they are gorgeous and just look at the broach.  I have made it so that it can be removed from the card by unpinning, so it is like a gift on a card.

O.K. so I had to photograph the broach for you, isn't it magnificent?

Don't forget to hop over to the Ribbon Girl challenge blog and get more inspiration.

Violet Vintage

Morning Everyone,

Where did the weekend go?  I've spent most of it on my knees, lol.  We recently decorated the hall, stairs and landing so I needed a new curtain for the front door to keep the draft out in the winter.  So  I decided to actually try and make it myself and use my sewing machine for actually sewing material instead of cards, lol.   I know nothing about making curtains so this was my first attempt.  I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, it was hard work  laying it out on the lounge floor about a thousand times.  I messed up matching the pattern by about 1cm, which is annoying but you'd have to look for it to know it.  There was a lot of measuring and pinning, measuring and pinning, all done on the lounge floor and on my knees, oh and yeah ironing the seams.  Any way I need another weekend, my back is killing me and I'm knackered and I didn't get any crafting done.

The theme this week is a popular one with the Girls at LLC, It's "Maya's Autumn Basics".  These papers are gorgeous.  I have used Vintage Basics VI and it matches perfectly to the Maya Road Vintage Scallop Pink Lace which is currently on sale.

The image is Violet Vintage by Saturated Canary and I have added some shabby white frantage around the edges.

The flower display is made up of foam flowers, kortandgodt rolled roses, cosmo daisy, flower spray, 10 and 15mm roses and 20mm wild rose and in the middle one of the new beaded berries in pink.

Have you seen the new Prima Junkyard Water Taps.  OMG, they are just sooooo cute.  Behind the scenes the DT have been drooling over them and now they are here at LLC.  I have placed one on a bark heart, which have just arrived  back in stock.  The bark heart was painted with white gesso.

Here's the tag which is placed into a mini envelope.  It is tied with lace and 3mm pearl string and finished with a butterfly charm.

I have also used some pearl string and embossed with Aged Rose frantage

Tripping Tilda

 Morning Everyone,

It's Challenge time again at BunnyZoe, can't believe we are already in October.  The challenge theme for this month is "Ribbons".  Don't forget to hop over to the challenge blog to check out my fab teamies creations and also the two new guest designers, Becky and Kathy.

My card is made up of lots of yummy things, full list with links at the bottom of the post.  The gingham ribbon is wired so I really like that you can manipulate it to how you want it to be.  I added a pearl brad and a pair of gloves charm.

The image I am sure you will all recognise as a Magnolia image called Tripping Tilda.  She is coloured with distress markers.  The papers are by MME called Vintage Christmas, they are gorgeous.

The star banner is cut from a Whiff of Joy Die, called Star Festoon.

The flowers are Red Ruffle Rose and Kaisercraft Sage Blossoms.  The holly leaves were cut from a Tim Holtz die and I added some snow tex.

Ingredients:-
Ruffle Red Roses and Kaisercraft Sage Blossoms
Kaisercraft Christmas Sentiments

When You Wish Upon a Star

Morning Everyone,

I have a really cute image to share with you today.  It's by a new artist, Candibean, at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps and is called Reach For the Star, aren't they cute.  The paper is also from the Little Darlings Frigid Fun set and I really like the vibrant red with the blue.

The colour of the mice happened by accident.  I initially went to colour them brown so started with E31, but then remember that I wanted to actually colour them using the warm greys so I started to add on top of the E31 and really liked the result.

The poinsetta's was made using a Tim Holtz die and I added snow tex for effect and some Kort and Godt berries in the centres.

The little Sending you Cheer tag is from a Marianne Design Christmas Sentiments stamp set and the Winter Days Calendar is again another new release from LDRS Frigid Fun Sentiment Set.

Copics:-
Mice - E31, W5, W3, W1, W00
Red R35, R37,R39, R89
Tree G99, YG67, YG63 and a couple of pencils
Blue B93, B91
Gold YR24, Y15, Y11

Ding Dong Merrily on High

Morning,

I'm back again and this time to share a new Crafters Companion Makey Bakey Mice called Christmas Carols. Isn't this little guy cute?  It comes with several text stamps that match the image, and by that I mean, "Oh come all ye faithful", "Ding Dong Merrily on High", "We wish you a Merry Christmas" and Merry Xmas, so certainly great value. He is coloured with Copics and I have addede some shabby white frantage around the edges..

I have used My Minds Eye Vintage Christmas 6x6 Papers, gosh they are gorgeous.  The gingham ribbon is wired so very easy to manipulate and made easier using the Bow Easy to tie the bow.

I have used Ruffle Red Roses and Sage flowers.  I have also used the Magnolia Sprawling Fern Die and dotted some snow tex here and there and added a few red berries.

Violets and some Pink Candy

Morning Everyone,

The theme that us girlies are following at LLC this week is "Roses are Red and Violets are Blue".  So out of this phrase I have chosen to go with Violets.  This is a comissioned card with a directive of purples and butterflies, think I have achieved it lol, but the chap who ordered it is delighted, so I'm happy.

The Papers are by PionDesign, Alma's Sewing Room collection.

The image is coloured with copics and I have added aged wine frantage around the edges and also on the butterflies.

I added lace and cream organza roses and added a Melissa Frances resin corner to the bottom left of the image.

I added a wild orchid crafts 15mm rose to each of the centres of the frantaged butterflies.

Here's a close up of the flowers on the right hand side.

Before I go, Sandy has some awesome and I mean awesome Pink Candy up for grabs, just click on the picture for all the deets.
