Romance

Morning Everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.  It's "Romance" at the Ribbon Girl and here's my Guest Design Team Card using this cute couple from LOTV coloured with DI markers.

I have used oval pearl string, wooden fence, diamante heart pin (so very beautiful), 20mm spacer and 14mm flat backed pearl, lilac starburst stamen, beaded lavender gypsophalia, beaded berries rose buds, white daisy, crystal flourish and scallop lace all available from The Ribbon Girl.

The heart die is from the February Marianne Design Release Anja's Filigraan Heart LR0299 and is available from BunnyZoe.  For the centre I have inked the magnolia Love Heart Text with versafine ink and added white embossing powder.

I have used Melissa Frances Tulle around the image.

The resin butterfly, white gesso, seam binding and MayaDesign papers are all available from Live and Love Crafts

Here's a close up of the flower arrangement and the beautiful diamante heart pin.

Frosty the Snowmen

Morning Everyone,

Remember the LOTV snowmen family, lol.  Well, my chap who always buys his cards from me loved them so I had to do another one for him.  So I had to put my thinking cap on with this one, made a little easier by my guest position at the Ribbon Girl and the fabulous inspiration photo.

I have added the Marianne Design window again, love this die and added some gupe lace behind the window as a blind.  The papers are MayaDesign Vintage Christmas Time 6x6 paper pad from Live and Love Crafts and I managed to still capture the baubles hanging down on the right hand side.

Here's the inspiration photo that I followed at the Ribbon Girl.

I have used the white daisys and added red kort and godt roses to the centres and some white stamen to the sides.  I added red berries and glass glitter, all available from the Ribbon Girl. There is lots of frosting, my beloved snow tex of course and gesso here and there.

I have also used the new picket fence and only the plain was available so I painted it using white gesso.  The trees are a Distinctively Dees Die and I added lots of diamond stickles.  I finished off at the bottom with 12mm danielle lace from the Ribbon Girl. The snowflakes around the edge are by Noor Design/Joycraft, another favourite die.

I also had to make a quick card for my nephew and you know I don't really enjoy boy cards, not me at all, so I reached for some dies. I have used 3 Marianne Design dies, the zipper, the silouette men on the pocket and also the Happy Birthday text.  The paper is from the latest Marianne Design release All for the men. The zip pull is by Prima Junkyard Findings Zipper Pulls

Have a good Sunday.

Chocolate and Coffee

Morning Everyone,

Sunday already, and hopefully a crafting day for me.  I've not had the best of weeks, with the Home requesting a DNR form to be completed for my MIL and my Mum deciding she no longer needs carers and then my bank card being used fraudulently, so crafting time has been on the back burner so hopefully today I can lock myself away and get caught up.

Soooooo, just look at this yummy picture........ ummmmm.  Would go well with a cup of coffee, right.  Well this photo is the inspiration photo over at The Ribbon Girl colour challenge for the month of October and when I saw this picture I just had to jump at the opportunity to guest again.  As some of you will know, monochromatic used to scare me, but now I just love it, especially the browns, my favourite mono colours.

So here's what I came up.  Not 100% happy with the colouring but I ran out of time :(  The little Angel is by CCDesigns from their latest release.  I have edged all the papers with walnut distress ink and added some shabby white frantage around the image.

I have used one of the snowflake pins, my oh my they are gorgeous and just look at the broach.  I have made it so that it can be removed from the card by unpinning, so it is like a gift on a card.

O.K. so I had to photograph the broach for you, isn't it magnificent?

Don't forget to hop over to the Ribbon Girl challenge blog and get more inspiration.

A couple of Cards and a GDT Call at BunnyZoe

Hi Everyone,

I'm a little late posting this card and I had it ready too, honest...  It's challenge time already at BunnyZoe and the theme this month is "Blue".  Interpret as you wish, blue as in cold or the colour blue.  I have used both.

The image is called Barkley Festive Fun from Crafters Companion.  The papers I have used are by Marianne Design, they are called Country Home,  it's a shame I had to cut into them, you can probably just make out that they are blue wood flooring and distressed, love the distressed look.

The Christmas Trees are also by Marianne Design and I cut them down to the sizes I required. The sweet image has been cut out using another of the new release Marianne Design Dies called Petra's Ornaments LR0279   .

The little house with the snow on is another new die from Marianne Design called Christmas Village collectable.  All have been distressed with Tim Holtz Distress inks and the image has also been coloured with the distress ink markers.

The sentiment came with the image and I stamped it out and cut it out using the Marianne Design  Passe-Partout Rectangles (CR1242)

Finished off with some gorgeous lace and ribbon roses sent to me by dear Gail, thank you.

************

I have another card that I found in my posts in draft, oops.  This little lady is Drozy's Darlings Watering Fairy by CC Designs.  I have used two types of Marianne Designs Dies around the image Petra's Fence and Anja's Vintage Ornaments 2.

The papers are from the MayaDesign Sofiero collection available from Live and Love Crafts as well as the gorgeous Lace Reinette

The floral bouquet is made up from an assortment of flowers from the RibbonGirl and lilac poppies and white flower spray from LLC.  The seam binding and the oval pearl string beads are both from the RibbonGirl.

The postage stamp is from the Marianne Designs Mail Around The World stamp set.  Love this set.

Lastly, the gorgeous Joycraft Butterfly border, isn't it fabulous.

I thought I would just let you all know that there is a guest DT call over at BunnyZoe, so if you would like to be considered click on the picture below.

Princess Mask

Good Morning,

On Day 3 of the new release at Crafty Sentiments and I'm thrilled to present "Princess Mask".  I have chosen to use the MayaDesgin Sofiero collection again and coloured the Princess in pinks using Copics, Princess's look gorgeous in pink, right?

The beaded lace braid is from Live and Love Crafts along with the white flower spray and the arch lace is from The Ribbon Girl along with the large pink blossom and pink stamen.

I have also cut out the birdcage diecut and added shabby pink frantage, love the effect.  You will also notice the shabby white dotted around the card.

I have also used the Crafty Sentiments Tab die and added Kaisercraft text.

Don't forget all the stamps are being released in store tomorrow but there's lots more inspiration over at Crafty Sentiments Inspiration Blog.

Lily Fairy

Morning Everyone,

Tuesday already and an exciting day for Suzette from Crafty Sentiments.  Suzette was on my very first Design Team, and is excited about the current new release being shown and asked me to be a Guest.  Of course I said Yes.  Today's image is called Lily Fairy.  I have also used a couple of Crafty Sentiments Dies, namely the grass and the tag.  All stamps will be available for sale on Release day which is 22nd August.  Here's what I came up with.

The papers are MayaDesign Sofiero, a beautiful collection available from Live and Love Crafts.

Here's a picture of the tag pulled out of the card.  The text is a Kaiser craft stamp.

Flowers are a mixture from The Ribbon Girl and Live and Love Crafts.  I made the clay frame from a new mould, soon to be released at Crafts and Me.

Don't forget to pop over to see all the DT creations and special guest creations at Crafty Sentiments HERE.

Sweet Sparkle

Morning,

Well I thought I was in for a good night's sleep last night as it had finally cooled down but I was wrong, been awake on and off all night, I know what will happen....... I won't want to wake up in the morning to go to work, but then again only this week to go and I have two weeks off, bliss.

Today is my DT card for BunnyZoe and a guest DT for the Colour Challenge for the fabulous Ribbon Girl, thank you Mary and Andrea, loved making this card.  All links to all the products used in both stores are as usual at the end of this post, just click on the thumbnail to be taken directly to the product.

Here's the photo for the inspirational colour challenge, yum, one of my favourite colour combo's, but yes I know I have soooo many, but I think this one might just top my list.

So, just look at what I came up with using this darling Whimsy Stamp called Sweet Sparkle by Sylvia Vet, love Sylvia's designs.  I have coloured with distress markers. I have been struggling to actually get a decent picture and I have to say that the card looks so much better in reality, one of my favourite cards.

The text is from a Kaisercraft set called Flora Delight and fitted perfectly in the Resin Cameo Frame.  Love this set as you can use the frames it comes with or just the text or both, so versatile.

The beautiful flowers are a combination from the Ribbon Girl and the silver one is from Prima's Natures Garden at BunnyZoe.
The postage stamps are froma Marianne Design Mail Around the World, love this set.  Love the new charms in at the Ribbon Girl, this one is called Daisy May with Flowers.

I have also added some new cards to my Etsy Shop HERE including this gorgeous one.

Have a great Sunday everyone.
