Taking It Easy

Morning Everyone,

I'm sure all those in the UK had a fabulous weekend with the sun shining as brightly as it did.  I'm hoping it will be doing the same again next weekend, it's a special day for me next Saturday so hopefully lots to look forward to as unfortunately I had to spend rather a long time in my craft room this weekend working on projects behind the scenes so I missed quite a bit of the glorious weather.   We did manage an early morning walk on Saturday :)

Today, at LLC Sandy has tasked us with the theme of Earth, Wind, Fire and Water. Ummmm, well thanks to LOTV I didn't have to give it too much thought, check out this little image, isn't it just soooooo adorable.  In fact I wish I was chilling with a glass of wine, she looks like she doesn't have a care in the world, bless.

I've used Pion Designs Floral Frames Anemone and also MayaDesigns XXII, my favourite sheet :)  I have added a little gesso and for some texture my favourtie snow tex, which has been a little neglected of late..... ummm best change that.

The floral bouquet is made up of the new blue 30mm wild rose, carnation, lily, tulips, 20mm rose, foam flowers, frosted berries and a little clay heart just peeking out.

I have also used the fabulous Little Darlings View Finder and found the perfect centre embellishment, the Prima Resin Ceiling Ornament with a vintage brad added to the centre.

Another favourite of mine, and yes I know there are soooo many, is the beautiful Lace Princess Grace, soooooooo love this lace, yummy :)

Have a good week.

Come Let Me Love You

Hello Everyone,

It's a bank holiday Monday here in the UK, yayyyyyyyyy, but the weekend is going far too quickly.  Definitely not enough hours in the day for me at the moment.

This week Sandy has challenged us LLC Girls to a theme of "Inspired by Annie's Song", and I woke up yesterday morning with this going around in my head.  This song is actually special to me as I play the flute and would always be playing this song in my bedroom when I was younger and still today would be the first song I play when I pick it up.  I have chosen the line, "Come let me love you" for my card with these two cuties from Lili of the Valley. Papers are by Pion Design 6x6 Viola and also Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 1910.

The postcard is cut from the Reprint Postcard sheet and the butterflies from Pion Design Studio of Memories cut out sheet.

The beautiful lace is called Lace Sophie.

The flower arrangement is made up of Chrysanthemum, 30mm rose, 20mm rose, 10mm rose, flower spray and Kort and Godt Curly Rose.  The leaf was cut with Noor Design Vintage Die.

I have used a Resin Clock from the Prima Set and added a cut out butterfly from the Pion Design Studio of Memories cut out sheet.  I added one of the ranger pen nibs to the centre of the butterfly, love this look.

I have been dying to use the new Oriental Teapot charm and decided that once these two had finished their gardening they were heading indoors for a cup of tea, lol.  The tag is tied with twine and Lace Amoile.  The tag is placed into a mini bag.

I have added a prima corner to the MajaDesign 1910 paper and tucked the view finder cut from the new Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Die.  I used the die as a stencil to add some pink velvet distress ink.  On the right you can just see the Marianne Design Anja'a Decoration just poking out.

Have a good day

LOTV Guest Card No. 2 and Some Yummy Yummy Candy

 Morning Everyone,

I'm excited once again to share not only my second Lili of the Valley Guest DT card but I also finally have some yummy yummy anniversary Candy for you, woo hoooooooo.

First up is my LOTV card using this adorable cute couple called The Charleston.  I decided to colour them in black and white and give an old vintagey feel to the card.

I have used Go Kreate Dies to create the shape and layers.  The gorgeous papers are by MayaDesign,

The butterflies were made using the Tim Holtz on the edge butterfly Die and gesso dabbed here and there and a rose flower added to the centres.

On the left hand side the arrangement is made up of some film strip, bark heart, prima key, wild rose, 10mm rose and some flower spray.

Along the top you will see the Noor Design Music Note die, again with a little gesso.  I have also added a Maya Road Love Clip.

On the right you will see the prima resin scroll corner and another flower arrangement and then two of the little Lili of the Valley Everyday Sentiment tags, these are soooooo darn cute and the set consists of 24 tags.  The large wild roses are from The Ribbon Girl.

I have used the most gorgeous lace from LLC and I have added a new favourite embellishment of a Graphic 45 Butterfly and added s spin arrow and a brad.

OK now its time for candy.  Gosh, can you believe it has been 4 years, well actually it seems longer but I've checked and it's definitely only 4 years, lol.
