Party Girl

Hi Everyone,

I should now be in California still have a whale of a time, I hope, lol.  My card today is using one of the party girls.

Papers are Maya Design available from Live and Love Crafts.

I used the butterfly border  and butterfly two pieces

I used the rolled roses die for the pink flowrs, they look realistic don't they.

The oval pearl string is from The Ribbon Girl.

I used leaves from the oval die set, love the elegancy of these as well as well as two other vintage flourish leaves.

A Gift For You

Here we are again, Monday and I didn't even touch the surface on my "To Do" list or my housework for that matter and as we approach Christmas I can't see this improving.  Have any of you started your Christmas Shopping yet? I was going to be so organised this year and have it done early but I haven't started.

As it's Monday it's time for my LLC DT card and this week Sandy is tasking us with the new "Maya Design" "A Gift For You" papers.  Gosh, it's a hard job but I guess someone has to do it, right?????  I have forced myself, lol, but seriously I am in love with this collection, just gorgeous, gorgeous papers.

I have used the Stempleglede image from the  Vintage Christmas set, they are all sooo beautiful and perfect for vintage cards.

The papers I have used are From Someone Special, Wrapped in Old Newspaper, Hope to see you Soon and the Die Cut Sheet from this collection.

I have used one of the gorgeous Prima Resin Frames, isn't this one awesome, love the design.  The text is cut also from the papers.  The little floral display is made from red berries, flower spray and a white carnation.  I also added a little gesso.

The snowflakes are from the Noor Design Iceicle border die.

On the right hand side I have added paper to the centre of the Noor Design Square Frame and Chandelier die and decorated with a little prima corner.  Just below this you can see the rusty heart with a dusting of snow tex and a collection of red berries and flowerspray and finished with a star pin.

You can see a close up here of the beautiful Reinette lace and jumbo pom poms.

I cut a Noor Design Tag from the paper and finished with seam binding, hemp cord and a rusty snowflake charm.

Here's a pic of the inside.  I have layered the text cut from the 12 x 12 Die Cut sheet onto the Noor Design Frame and Chandelier Die.  This has also been used for the panel at the bottom where I have also cut out the post card from the paper and tucked it behind.

In The Bleak Mid Winter

Morning,

Well what a whirlwind of a weekend.  I don't think I've slept since I launched the new Noor Design UK Shop.  I have so many things going around in my head and I still have more exciting things to share with you :)  If you haven't hopped over to check out the Noor Design Blog and enter the candy, there's still time.  You have until this evening so hurry :)

Well have you seen the new Maja Design papers, oh yum yum.  I personally love black and white so I just totally adore these papers.

I have used the image from the 12x12 Diecut sheet.  I have also used On Christmas Morning and Wrapped in Old Newspaper. Soooo gorgeous.  The theme set this week for us DT gilrl is sentiments, so I think my card fits.

Can you spot the bells, hehehe I added them to the centres of the snowflakes.  They come in 3 sizes and I used all 3.

I have also positioned a little Angel and a star pin to the left, just sitting on the organza pearl ribbon and Zoe lace.

I have also used one of the new Melissa Frances Chalk Talk Bags and added a sentiment onto the Noor Design Tag from the Stempleglede Christmas Stamp Set.  It's finished off with two ringing bells, seam binding and natural hemp cord.

You will also notice the chalk board frame.  I wrote Warm Wishes using a jelly roll white pen.

The image is framed in a Noor Design frame and some 2mm pearl string added.

The flower arrangement is made up of a white apple, chrysanthemum's, black berries, frosted berries and oh have you seen the new straws, yes straws, lol.  I have used the Dansak ones in black.  Sooo cool.

A close up of the corner of the paper, where you can see the bird feeder covered in snow.

A close up of those straws......oh and a strip of filmstrip.

Hugs
