Christmas Greetings

Hello Everyone,

Goodness I feel exhausted.  Just dropped my Son back to his house for University this weekend.  I had to close my eyes for most of it, lol.. Goodness knows how these landlords get away with the state of these houses they let to Students, it's shocking.  Saying that his room isn't too bad, just close your eyes for the rest of it.  He's got strict instructions not to use any of the kitchen surfaces and I left with armed with a chopping board and bacterial spray, lol.

Here's my DT card for Live and Love Crafts and Sandy has set a theme of "Bon Voyage".  I hear you saying this doesn't look much like a Bon Voyage card.  Well........ my thinking is Bon Voyage is Farewell, right? So as I'm just back from my holiday I'm saying Farewell to the Summer and Hello Winter, lol.

I have used Pion Design's Norweign Christmas collection to make this book and I really wanted to see the church scene from the paper so was careful in the positioning of embellishments.  The gorgeous image is also from the same collection called christmas greetings.

The Base sheet is actually from Pion Deisgn's Vintage Wedding Collection, cut using the Dutch Doobadoo Book Stencil.

Below is one of the new sets of Sue Wilson Poinsetta Stamps just in at Noor Design UK and cut with the matching Poinsetta Die Set, links below.  I have also added frosted pomegranates and holly leaves with some diamond stickles.

I added some lace, double row string pearls to the centre and finished with some cinamon sticks and vax cord.

Let's Party Girl with Lollipop

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick post as although I have arrived home from the US and been totally shattered I am now in the Cotswolds for the weekend :)

I have used Let's Party Girl with Lollipop for this card and coloured her with distress inks.  It is also a shaped card and a reminder that our challenge this month at Noor Design UK is Shaped Cards.

I have used rolled roses amongst the flowers.

I have used the original butterfly border and the Vintage Flourish butterfly for the top layer.  I used the rolled rose for the centre.

I have used the Dutch Doobadoo Card Art Owl to make the shaped card, great for quick cards and very effective.

I used the Romance paper pad, love the colours.

The tag is from the Dutch Doobadoo Labels

The purple lace was sent to me as a birthday gift from my crafting friend Judy, thank you Judy I will have to use more of this paper pad as it perfect :)

Party Girl

Hi Everyone,

I should now be in California still have a whale of a time, I hope, lol.  My card today is using one of the party girls.

Papers are Maya Design available from Live and Love Crafts.

I used the butterfly border  and butterfly two pieces

I used the rolled roses die for the pink flowrs, they look realistic don't they.

The oval pearl string is from The Ribbon Girl.

I used leaves from the oval die set, love the elegancy of these as well as well as two other vintage flourish leaves.
