Guest Design Card No. 3 For The Pixie Cottage

Good morning Peeps,

Another busy week, can't wait until 2nd August when I finally get some time off to chill!

Today's card is my third Guest Design Card for the Pixie Cottage, and it's another fabulous sketch with the added option of using two stamps.

I have used the Pixie Cottage Tree Stump, which has a little bench attached so you can sit characters on, but I masked out the bench and placed Hannah with Hearts in front of the Stump.  Hannah is another fabulous Pixie Cottage stamp, available right HERE.

I have coloured the images with Copics, also available from The Pixie Cottage and Michelle gives a fabulous service so I highly recommend you pop over to Michelle's shop and have a look around.

Materials Used:-

Pixie Cottage Stamps Hannah with Hearts and Tree Stump
All matting is on Bazill Cardstock
Martha Stewart Border Punch & Around the Edge Punch to creat the semi circle
Flowers from Magnolia and Wild Orchid Craft
Martha Stewart Frond Punch
Walnut stain distress ink

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

The Pink Elephant - Brown
Bunny Zoe - Summer Days
All Sorts - Summer Days
Town Scrapper - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping By.

GD Sketch for Pixie Cottage

Good Morning Peeps,

I was thrilled recently when Michelle from The Pixie Cottage contacted me and asked me to be a Guest Designer for the month of July.  Of course I said yes, I just love their sketches and their stamps.  If you haven't visited before then please pop over to The Pixie Cottage Blog here, and Michelles Online Store for all Pixie Cottage Stamps and More HERE.  Below is the sketch that I followed with an added Aperture somewhere on your card.  I chose to add a circular aperture right in the middle of my card:-

The Stamp I used is of course a Pixie Cottage Stamp, Gorgeous isn't it.  I have lots of sparkle which unfortunately you can't see very well.  I used Swaroski Crystals so this card really has a Twinkle, Twinkle effect.  I have also used my sewing machine again, lol.

The above picture is the inside of the card where you can see quite clearly the cutout aperture, which I did with my nesties.  Not an easy task though as I had quite of few layers to get through and my new cutting spacer plate hadn't arrived in time.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

My Time To Craft - Angelic Image
Crafty Angels - Circle and Square
Bunny Zoe - Nice and Girly
Alphabet Challenge - J for Jewels
Prarie Fairy - Anything Goes
Wee Memories - Free for All
A pocketful of posies - One for The Girls

Thanks for popping by.

April With Hearts

Happy Bank Holiday Everyone,

It's a shame it's been a wet one in the UK, but I guess we should all be used to it by now, lol.

I have finally got round to making a card using "April with Hearts", which is a Pixie Cottage stamp. I won her a couple of months ago on the Pixie Cottage Challenge Blog and have been eager to ink her up since her arrival, but design team cards have come first and I haven't had enough time until now. Isn't she gorgeous!

I have coloured her using copics and added some flowersoft to some of the flowers and the grass and I love the effect.

Materials Used:-

April with Hearts - Pixie Cottage Stamp
May Your Day Be Special - Magnolia Stamp
Martha Stewart Art Deco and Frond Punches
Marianne Design Swirls Die
Mesh from Zoe Bunny Crafts
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
PomPoms from Craftystash

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Pixie Cottage - Sketch
Corrosive - Celebrate
Crafty Catz - spots
Cutie Stampers - Flowers
Creative Beli - Birthday (my poor new stamp)
