Happy Friday Peeps,

I'm extremely happy that it's Friday as this means that I will be going on a well earned holiday next week and won't be at work, yayyyyyyyyyyyyy!

This fortnight at Craftalicious  Gina has chosen the challenge of "making your own flowers", something we are probably all guilty of not doing enough of and when we do we think, "why don't I do that more often"?  Well now's your chance to get out all your stash and create some beautiful flowers so we can all visit your blogs and steal your ideas, lol!

This challenge is being sponsored by Stitchy Stamps and I have used the image "Sprite".  If you haven't visited Stitchy click HERE and take a good look around, there are some really fab images.  Please pop over to view the design teams creations at the Craftalicious Challenge Blog, but unfortunately a couple of members had computer problems and were unable on this ocassion to use the images provided but you won't be disappointed, believe me!  Anyway enough waffling, here's my card:-

April With Hearts

Happy Bank Holiday Everyone,

It's a shame it's been a wet one in the UK, but I guess we should all be used to it by now, lol.

I have finally got round to making a card using "April with Hearts", which is a Pixie Cottage stamp. I won her a couple of months ago on the Pixie Cottage Challenge Blog and have been eager to ink her up since her arrival, but design team cards have come first and I haven't had enough time until now. Isn't she gorgeous!

I have coloured her using copics and added some flowersoft to some of the flowers and the grass and I love the effect.

Materials Used:-

April with Hearts - Pixie Cottage Stamp
May Your Day Be Special - Magnolia Stamp
Martha Stewart Art Deco and Frond Punches
Marianne Design Swirls Die
Mesh from Zoe Bunny Crafts
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
PomPoms from Craftystash

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Pixie Cottage - Sketch
Corrosive - Celebrate
Crafty Catz - spots
Cutie Stampers - Flowers
Creative Beli - Birthday (my poor new stamp)

Mum

Evening Peeps,

I hope everyone has had an enjoyable weekend. I have spent most of my time cleaning and crafting this weekend. I thought I would just show you this card that I was asked to make. I know it is a little similar to my last posting, well in fact it was meant to be the same except pink and blue, but I'm not too good at recreating the same thing twice, I tend to go in a different direction, whoops! Anyway I think she'll like it, well I hope she does, don't think I'll get another one for the weekend, haven't done my Mum's yet?

Materials Used:-
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Tulle, lace, beads, brads from stash
Nestabilities for oval and around sentiment
MUM cut on Cricut using Mickey Mouse Font
Computer sentiment and inside verse

I have entered this into the following challenges:-
* By the cute and girly (spring is in the air)
* Paper Sundaes (crystal blue, hollyhock, sweetleaf)
* Lexis Creations (Anything goes)
* Creative Card Crew (Celebrations)
* Creative Craft Challenge (Thanks a bunch)
