Lilacs/Purples

Morning Everyone,

What a glorious weekend of weather we are having in the UK.  I have for you today my guest DT card for The Ribbon Girl and I have used a Saturated Canary image by the very talented Krista called Ellie Awesome Sauce, just love these images.   As you can see she is in Lilac, to fit the Ribbon Girl Colour Challenge this week of Lilac's/purples.

The papers are digital, can you believe that!  Well they are and you can grab them from Michelle Roo's Etsy site .  I have used the Shabby Purples, which fit perfectly with the lilac, well I think so, lol. There are loads of designs to choose from so hop on over and have a mooch.

I have used Isobelle white vintage lace and lilac silk ribbon with a pearl and diamante embellishment in the centre all from The Ribbon Girl

The London postage stamp is from Marianne Design postcard set.

The flower arrangement is made up of  Lilac Kort and Godt Rolled Roses, White Chrysanthemums, lilac beaded berries, Ivory and Lilac 20mm WOC open roses, white hip rosebuds and lavender gypsophalia which of course can all be found at The Ribbon Girl.  All dabbed with a little gesso from Live and Love Crafts.

I have tied a little charm using twine, Daisy May in the Garden, both available from The Ribbon Girl.

The vintage seam binding and 2mm string beads are both from Live and Love Crafts.

The Prima Resin Butterfly is from Live and Love Crafts.

I hope you like my card today and can hop along to The Ribbon Girl Challenge Blog to join in.

Enjoy your day.

New Lilies at LLC

Hello Everyone,

Another weekend gone and I can't believe we are in May, let alone the middle and I'm closer to becoming another year older :(

Today's card is my DT card for Live and Love Crafts and the theme this week is "Lillies".  Sandy has some new colours in store so be sure to check them out.  This little lady is Marci in Wonderland by LaLaCrafts.  She is coloured with Distress Inks and if you'd like to learn how to colour her up, watch this space.... more details coming soon. :)

I have used 3 papers from Pion Design's Shoreline Treasures; White Blossom, Dragonfly and Warm Breeze, all distressed with Gesso.  A little shabby white frantage has been added around the image and layered underneath with cheese cloth.

The Butterflies were cut from Pion Design's Studio of Memories Die Cut Sheet and a pen nib added to the largest butterfly.  Love this sheet.  I have also added a Prima Resin Corner to the top left.

The view finder is from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.

The diecut on the left is a Fleur De lis border by Noor Design and the one on the right is by Marianne Design.

The flower arrangement is made up of the new blue 30mm wild rose, of course blue lillies, blue carnation, chrsanthemum and some berries. Oh and of course the beautiful, beautiful lace is another new arrival called Lace Josaphine.

This card is currently for sale in my Etsy Store

Come Let Me Love You

Hello Everyone,

It's a bank holiday Monday here in the UK, yayyyyyyyyy, but the weekend is going far too quickly.  Definitely not enough hours in the day for me at the moment.

This week Sandy has challenged us LLC Girls to a theme of "Inspired by Annie's Song", and I woke up yesterday morning with this going around in my head.  This song is actually special to me as I play the flute and would always be playing this song in my bedroom when I was younger and still today would be the first song I play when I pick it up.  I have chosen the line, "Come let me love you" for my card with these two cuties from Lili of the Valley. Papers are by Pion Design 6x6 Viola and also Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 1910.

The postcard is cut from the Reprint Postcard sheet and the butterflies from Pion Design Studio of Memories cut out sheet.

The beautiful lace is called Lace Sophie.

The flower arrangement is made up of Chrysanthemum, 30mm rose, 20mm rose, 10mm rose, flower spray and Kort and Godt Curly Rose.  The leaf was cut with Noor Design Vintage Die.

I have used a Resin Clock from the Prima Set and added a cut out butterfly from the Pion Design Studio of Memories cut out sheet.  I added one of the ranger pen nibs to the centre of the butterfly, love this look.

I have been dying to use the new Oriental Teapot charm and decided that once these two had finished their gardening they were heading indoors for a cup of tea, lol.  The tag is tied with twine and Lace Amoile.  The tag is placed into a mini bag.

I have added a prima corner to the MajaDesign 1910 paper and tucked the view finder cut from the new Little Darlings Rubber Stamps Die.  I used the die as a stencil to add some pink velvet distress ink.  On the right you can just see the Marianne Design Anja'a Decoration just poking out.

Have a good day
