Lovely Lace at Crafts and Me

Morning Crafters,

How are we all? Well I can tell you I am very behind this morning and after having a fabulous time last night with my best friend, had far too many double bacardi's and decided to take my photo's after I got home.  I'm pleased to say that I managed to get the photo tent up without knocking the photo lamps off but the photo's are a little dodgy to say the least.

Today is the start of a new challenge at Crafts and Me.  My card is using a new image and I couldn't see that Teresa has loaded her yet so I can't tell you what she is called.  Teresa has also launched some new moulds, so if you are like me and like to make your own embellishments these are fabulous.  The delight clay is also back in stock and a little goes a long way.  It is very light and makes perfect embellishments for your card.

I have coloured her with copics but can't find where I wrote them down, but if you would like to know just email me, I'm sure I will find them when I clear the mess up on my desk.

The papers are a combination of MayaDesign 6 x 6 Vintage Spring Basics and Marianne Design.  The frame is made using the Delight Clay and the text is from Kaisercraft called Flora Delight, works perfectly with the frame.  The flowers are from the RibbonGirl with the exception of the white flower spray which is from Live and Love Crafts.

The little wooden butterfly button amongst the flowers and the charm embellishment are new in at Crafts and Me.

The beautiful lace and Melissa Frances butterfly is from Live and Love Crafts.

I'll be back in a couple of hours with a very special post.

A couple of Cards and a GDT Call at BunnyZoe

Hi Everyone,

I'm a little late posting this card and I had it ready too, honest...  It's challenge time already at BunnyZoe and the theme this month is "Blue".  Interpret as you wish, blue as in cold or the colour blue.  I have used both.

The image is called Barkley Festive Fun from Crafters Companion.  The papers I have used are by Marianne Design, they are called Country Home,  it's a shame I had to cut into them, you can probably just make out that they are blue wood flooring and distressed, love the distressed look.

The Christmas Trees are also by Marianne Design and I cut them down to the sizes I required. The sweet image has been cut out using another of the new release Marianne Design Dies called Petra's Ornaments LR0279   .

The little house with the snow on is another new die from Marianne Design called Christmas Village collectable.  All have been distressed with Tim Holtz Distress inks and the image has also been coloured with the distress ink markers.

The sentiment came with the image and I stamped it out and cut it out using the Marianne Design  Passe-Partout Rectangles (CR1242)

Finished off with some gorgeous lace and ribbon roses sent to me by dear Gail, thank you.

************

I have another card that I found in my posts in draft, oops.  This little lady is Drozy's Darlings Watering Fairy by CC Designs.  I have used two types of Marianne Designs Dies around the image Petra's Fence and Anja's Vintage Ornaments 2.

The papers are from the MayaDesign Sofiero collection available from Live and Love Crafts as well as the gorgeous Lace Reinette

The floral bouquet is made up from an assortment of flowers from the RibbonGirl and lilac poppies and white flower spray from LLC.  The seam binding and the oval pearl string beads are both from the RibbonGirl.

The postage stamp is from the Marianne Designs Mail Around The World stamp set.  Love this set.

Lastly, the gorgeous Joycraft Butterfly border, isn't it fabulous.

I thought I would just let you all know that there is a guest DT call over at BunnyZoe, so if you would like to be considered click on the picture below.

Gardener Gayle

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend.  I had a lovely day out with my friend yesterday followed by a lovely home cooked roast dinner, yum, yum, it always tastes better when someone else cooks it doesn't it.  Diet starts today, yep I keep saying that, but it really must, going to be a long haul.

My card today is using Saturated Canary image Gardener Gayle available from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, and with the theme for the DT to follow over at LLC this week of Wild Orchid Crafts, I thought she would be perfect.  I have coloured her up with distress inks.

I have used two papers by MayaDesign, Vintage Summer Basics, 1923, and Shall We Have Coffee, Flowers on the table.  I cut out the little seed packet from the PionDesign Vintage Garden Flax 6x6 sheet, love those little packets, and I added a key charm.  (This is the door key as Gayle was planting in the front garden and didn't want to let the dog out so had to close the door behind her, hehehe).

I have used a variety of Wild Orchid Craft flowers, all links below, and added a gorgeous resin bird cage by Melissa Frances, just love these resin pieces.  The gorgeous lace is again the Empress Alexandra, and you know by now that this is my favourite lace at the moment, I say that as Sandy is always getting in gorgeous laces that it's so difficult not to like them, especially as I luvvvvv my laces.

I have added Shabby White frantage around the image and some rose fragments and Aged Rose on the butterflies.  The 6mm pearls were also treated to some shabby white frantage before adding to the centre of the butterflies.

Be sure to pop by tomorrow for Tina's gorgeous creation.

This card is available for sale in my Etsy Shop.

Swedish Lapland

Morning Everyone,

Gosh it's the 2nd September, can you believe it?  It's usually this time of year when everyone starts to say, "Before you know it Christmas will be here", and it's true and that's why I'm being super organised and getting lots of Christmas Cards done and there's no better time with the new release of Pion's Swedish Lapland papers having arrived in the LLC Store.  So can you guess the theme the girls will be following this week........ hehehe, easy wasn't it, yep "Pion's Christmas release of Swedish Lapland papers".

I have used 2 sheets 12x12 papers and also the cut two tags from the 12x12 tag sheet. and I have also added my new favourite beautiful, beautiful Lace Empress Alexandra, its 90mm wide, but isn't it just gorgeous.

The die cut above the image is from a Marianne Design new release and I have added some weathered wood distress ink.  There are areas of shabby white frantage here and there, this works fabulously on your christmas cards.
The flower arragement on the right is made up of some mini apples, again coloured with my copic marker a deep red, cream flower sprays, love these, red berries and red foam stems, a pine cone (watch this space), and a magnolia little angel, soooo cute.

Here's a close up of the tags cut from the 12x12 tag sheet, and of course they match the papers I've used, edged with walnut stain and popped into a mini bag.  Finished off with a mini bark heart and a mini apple.
This card is available in my Etsy Shop.

Inspirational Picture at LLC

Happy Sunday Everyone,

Today it's challenge time at Live and Love Crafts, yikes were in September already and you know what that means, yep Christmas will be upon us in no time.  Our challenge this month is an inspirational photo, so pop on over to the LLC Blog to see all my teamies awesome creations to inspire you to enter this months challenge.  As always you could win £25 to spend in the LLC Store courtesy of Sandy.

My card for you today is using a CHA image soon to be released at Little Darlings, the new Candibean range and this is called "Daisy's Winter Lampost".  The release will be real soon, promise.   I have kept everything else quite plain, shabby and cream/white, well except for the red, lol, as per the inspirational photo of course.  The "WINTER DAYS" Calendar is also a CHA release coming to Little Darlings soon and I popped two pegs on the top, just because.

The snow balls were actually part of the stamped image but I chose to add some liquid applique, heat to puff up and then added some snowtex on top, looks really snowy in real life and dimensional.

The paper is from Pion's collection of Silent Night and distressed with walnut stain and some shabby white frantage.  The tree is a from a Tim Holtz die.  There's the new beautiful new lace again just added to the LLC store, can't tell you how gorgeous this is, and topped off with some shabby Melissa Frances trim and some 6mm white string pearls.

The flower arrangement is made up of mini apples, which I used my copic marker pen to change the colour to a more burgundy red, small gardenia, red poppies, raspberry, white berries, white flower spray and of course some snow tex and some Tim Holtz die cut holly leaves.

Oh Christmas Tree

Hi Everyone,

Hope your all enjoying your weekend.  I've managed to create a card just for fun and oh what fun I had, hehehe.  This gorgeous Lili of the Valley image has been in my stash far too long without being inked, so I really enjoyed colouring it up with distress ink markers.

The fabulous papers are Lost and Found by My Minds Eye, love them, something else that has been in my stash for a while.

I would like to say a special thank you to Gail who has been watching my lace fettish and has sent me a wonderful package full of laces, crotcheted doiles, oh soooo gorgeous, in fact I already have favourites already and couldn't wait to use some of the lace, so yep, it's on this card.  Thank you Gail, you are a darling and I am so very grateful.

Here's a little close up of the berries and turquoise poppy and just below one of the prima typo bulbs, so cute, literally.

I'll be back tomorrow as its the 1st of the month and time for a LLC Challenge.

 Hugs Tracy x
