Simply Sassy Sneek Peek Apple of my Eye

Morning Peeps,

Where does the weekend go.  Seriously you blink and you miss it.  I did manage to do an hour in the gymn on Saturday, goodness knows what's come over me and yesterday I visited my niece and the new addition to the family, baby Nikita.  She's gorgeous, so now I'm a Great Aunt!

I also had a little accident with acrylic paint, oh my word.  I only needed a little for the project so I unscrewed the lid. Biggggggg mistake.  I knocked the bottle off the table and it landed upright.  Good you may think. Notttt. It hit the floor with such speed that the contents splurted up and covered me, my sewing machine, printer, radiator and the carpet. Opps!  As i woke up early I just put on my hubbys T-shirt and my linen trousers and went to my craftroom whilst everyone was still sleeping, so my hubby's black Firetrap T-shirt now has splatters of white paint all over it. I was so lucky it didn't splatter the cards I had on the side, typical crafter more worried about my cards than OH's T-shirt. Who would of thought there was that much in a bottle, lol.  My hair still has white streaks, lol.

I have a little sneek peek for you. This is Apple of my Eye and will be available on Saturday from Funky Kits.

Ingredients:-

Image "Apple of my Eye" Funky Kits from Sat 23rd July
Pion Papers
Lasercut Chipboards leaves, corners, flower centre in ribbon by Make It Crafty/Quixotic Paperie

Naughty or Nice

Morning Peeps,

Well another hour or so in the gymn last night and 350 calories burnt off.  I tell ya it certainly makes you think twice about eating a Mars bar when you realise how hard it is to work off 350 calories, lol.  Today is my second week as Guest at Papertake Weekly and I have used the last of my Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy Christmas Set Stamps and you know what that means...... yep next time it will be a sneek peek....... The image is called "Puppy Love" and is available from Funky Kits HERE.

I have again created another scene, which is a bit weird trying to create that warm feel with the snow outside when in reality it's a lovely summer's day.  Nevertheless I now have 7 Christmas cards done and I'm well pleased with that.

I've made a stair step card. The background images are from Make It Crafty and being digital enabled me to create the wallpaper and flooring using digital papers.   I cut the window out and added some snow mesh and backed it with blue card.  Hopefully it looks like it's snowing outside whilst she is sitting in a nice cosy living room in front of the fire.

Ingredients:-
Image Puppy Love available from Funky Kits HERE
Background Images from Make It Crafty
 Medium - Copics
Marianne Design Poinsetta Die & Leaves
Acrylic Paint

Christmas in July

Morning Peeps,

Hope you all had a fab weekend.  I had to go shopping to Tesco on a Saturday afternoon, all I can say is never again!  I hate shopping at the best of times. Yesterday me and OH went out on our bikes, a gentle 6 mile ride..... NOT.  Hubby's idea of short cuts again, up steep hills, sharp left and up a vertical rock hard mud  hill, so much so I nearly fell off me bike, well actually nearly a couple of times.  We were going up a one way street so had to go on the path and got stuck behind two people so I came to an abrupt stop and as I can't quite touch the ground with my feet I nearly fell into the road, lol.  Anyways, 355 calories burnt off so it had its plus points.

Anyways, are you guys having problems with Blogger, I can't leave comments, sometimes my page is all over the place.  I usually swtich browser but it seems to be a problem on both that I use. Grrrrrr.

Sassy Gift Tin

Hiya Peeps,

My Mojo is missing lately so I thought I'd show you something really simple.  We had a tin of travel sweets in our office and when the last one was taken it was time for me to confiscate the tin.  Everyone in my department knows there's a use for boxes, tins, bags etc, lol.

All I've done is covered it with paper.  I did think about painting the tin first but thought it may be difficult to fit the lid on afterwards, plus I liked the metal showing.  So here is my simple gift tin using "Christmas Kisses" available from Funky Kits.

Oh and by the way, I have received the next release, wow weeeeeee, that's all I'm saying.......

Ingredients:-
Image by Simply Sassy Sugar Nellie "Christmas Kisses" available from Funky Kits

Morning Peeps,

Get Sassy for Christmas

Morning Peeps,

It's that exciting time again where all the Sassy DT come together to display the newest release of Simply Sassy stamps and this release is all about Christmas/Winter.  Christmas cards are just my favourite cards to make and although this is a christmas release some of the stamps I believe can be adapted to suit birthdays too.  I usually start my christmas cards in July, as I know many of you do, so I know your going to enjoy what we have in store.  If you have arrived from the Simply Sassy Inspiration Blog then your the right track, if not hop over HERE.

I have used "All Spruced Up".  I see her as just coming in from outside and taking her sprucy tree into the living room to place next to the lit fire to decorate, but you'll have to pop back another time to see that bit, lol.  I have paired her up with one of the newly released Make It Crafty background images, home sweet home, thought this suited my little story perfectly.

This sassy image really reminds me of my niece with her cheeky grin, so watch out Chelsea this one could be for you!

A bit of acrylic paint here and there, especially on that tree where it has been snowing outside.

All spruced up is available today, just click on the picture below to go shopping

Ingredients:-
Image "All Spruced Up" by Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy at Funky Kits HERE
Home sweet Home available HERE from Make It Crafty
Lasercut chipboard corner available HERE from Make It Crafty
Papers by Websters
Marianne Design Leaf Die
Doily and acrylic paint from stash

Don't forget to leave a comment on all of the DT in order to be in with a chance of winning the whole set of 6 stamps, and Maria will be checking....

So next on the hop is fabulous Erica.  Enjoy!

Following my sort out I have finally got round to listing some exclusive dies onto Ebay and I will be adding stamps and bits and pieces through the week, so keep checking back.

My card today for the Simply Sassy DT Inspiration Blog is "Amelia".  I've gone for the distressed and clock/time theme.  I see her on her travels and enjoying the journey.
