Meet Amelia

Morning Peeps,

Hope you've all had a good weekend.  I apologise for being a silent blogger this last week, but following the news of my Daughter's best friend committing suicide last Monday, crafting and blogging have been the last things on my mind and fortunately for me most of the cards I have ready had been prepared before this news arrived in, unusual for me I know.

Following my sort out I have finally got round to listing some exclusive dies onto Ebay and I will be adding stamps and bits and pieces through the week, so keep checking back.

My card today for the Simply Sassy DT Inspiration Blog is "Amelia".  I've gone for the distressed and clock/time theme.  I see her on her travels and enjoying the journey.

I'm not at all happy with the pictures I took, the sun was shining brightly, and I know I shouldn't complain about that.  I will probably retake when I get in tonight.

Ingredients:-

Amelia available from Funky Kits HERE
Map/postcard is by Tim Holtz
Lasercut Chipboard Embellishments from Make It Crafty HERE
Acrylic paint, Tape Measure Ribbon,
Tim Holtz Stamps stamped using stazon onto accetate
Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Cracklepaint
Whimsey Stamp Sentiment

I am entering my card into the following challenges:-

Card Cupids - More than 3 layers
Dream Valley - Stamp Something
One Stop Craft - Texture
Delicious Doodles - Texture
Paper Creations Ink - Ribbon/Lace

Don't forget to check my  Ebay out for some exclusvie dies that I had made.  Click on the link on the top left handside of my blog.

Hi Tracy

What an amazing creation, I love this style.
What horrible news though. I have two daughters and would hate to think that they could ever think this is their only way out - certainly makes you think. Hope your daughter is coping OK.

Hugs Ali x
