Sweet Tilda

Morning Crafters,

Hope your all having a good weekend.   The sun is shining here so I'll be off for a nice long walk with Hubby and Ollie my little Bichon to Ashridge woods, love it there, plus they do the most scrumptious Cream Scones, yum.

Speaking of Yum, I was invited by The Ribbon Girl to guest for their colour challenge today, check out the gorgeous picture below, one of my favourite colour combo's.

And this is what I came up with, love this Tilda.  The papers are just yummy too and are from MajaDesign, all links at the bottom of this post.  The lace is called  15mmWhite Guipure Lace from TheRibbonGirl.

Here's the flowers from top right hand corner; Daisy White, KortandGodt Lilac Rolled Rose and Pink Open Rose 20mm

Flower Fairy

Morning Crafters,

I am back again with another card using one of the most gorgeous, cutest Whimsy Flower Fairies, these images are just the cutest.  I have also tried out Mariska's paper piecing tutorial, something I have wanted to do for ages.  A word of advice though, I think it would of gone a lot better had I had the correct tools, i.e. the scissors and the correct glue.  I have just used ordinary glue and you don't get quite as much dimension.  The tiny elements on this stamp were rather fiddly but I do love the result.

The little paper bag that is holding the tag was white.  I used my copic airbrush system and BV000 to colour the bag lilac, something I'd be doing more of as I love everything to match.

The Design papers are from Magnolia called Hydrangea.  The flowers are from the Ribbon Girl and BunnyZoe. The gorgeous Emily lace, seam binding and twine  is also from The Ribbon Girl.

The beautiful butterfly is by Magnolia called "Butterfly Kit.  It comes with two different size butterflies and also the butterfly text which I have used just underneath the butterfly here and also can be seen on the left hand side. I have also used a 6x6 brick stencil and snow text to create the brickwall effect and positioned the butterfly onto.

Copic Marker Ingredients:-
Skin E00, E000, E0000, E11
Hair E43, E31, E29, E50
Lilac BV11, BV01, BV000
Cream E44, E42, E40

Everyone Loves Marilyn

Morning Crafters,

Hope you all had a good weekend and are ready for another week of inspiration from the LLC DT.  This week we have a photo inspiration from the gorgeous Louise and the photo is made up from items around Louise's house, OMG aren't they yummy, think I need to visit Louise's house for a vacation, I know I'd just love it.

Well my mojo is on a serious vacation and I do hope it returns soon.  As beautiful as Louise's picture is I have struggled to get myself into gear, I really don't know what is wrong with me but I hope it passes soon.  That being said this is what I have come up with. I have used a Stampsmith Stamp of Marilyn Monroe.  Everyone loves Marilyn don't they?  I have taken the turquoise, pink and white from the inspiration photo.  All edges were distressed with the blending tool and black soot distress ink.  You know I think everytime I'm in my craft room I use my blending tool, don't know what I'd do without it, lol.

Papers are from Maja Design Spring Basics 4th May and the turquoise is from Riddersholm called Camille.

Beautiful flowers, see thumbnails below and those gorgeous blackberries and apple.  I have also tied a bow using the lace petite and added one of the new shabby bark hearts to the centre.  The beaded heart was turned pink using my copic marker. All the flowers had a dusting of white gesso, well it's me so of course they would, lol.

I have also used a Melissa Frances Clay Corner, love these.

Now look at this beauty.  This is one of the Vintage Findings Teardrop Pearl Centres, note to self..... must add more to my next order.  I thought the prima musical note paperclip was perfect for Marilyn and also the Ranger photostrip.

Here's another view of the flower arrangement.

Have a good week everyone.

Tilda With Corkscrews

Morning Crafters,

Can't believe how quickly this comes around, but it's time for another challenge at BunnyZoe.  This time is something quite different...... Be inspired by one of the BunnyZoe DT Members.  So hop on over to the challenge post and chose a DT member who inspires you and enter this month's challenge.

My card today has been made using accetate. I wanted to use the new Kaisercraft Wooden Gates and I thought they would work fabulously with Tilda with corkscrews, but I didn't want to lose the beautiful intricate design of the wooden doors.  I added Fabscrapbs latch set so the card can be closed and opened.

The beautiful butterflies are from from magnolia butterfly kit, link below, and I stamped the butterfly text directly onto the accetate using stazon ink before attaching the butterfly.

Here's a view with the card open, so at all times you can see those fabulous gates and of course the little princess inside.  The terrocota pot on the right hand side is a Marianne Design Die which I cut and out on cryogen cardstock and then coloured with my copic markers.  I added some Flower Spray to the top, love it.  The gorgeous paper is from Magnolia called Japanese garden.

Here's a view of the back of the card.   I have cut two magnolia doohickey tags and will add text later.  The banner is by LaLaLand and oh almost forget the edges are using the Magnolia Doohickey Lacing Coffee die.

Don't forget to pop by the BunnyZoe Blog and see which DT member you choose to be inspired by.

Also, BunnyZoe is having 20% off Magnolia Stamps, click on the picture below to go shopping.

Busy Little Gardeners

Morning Crafters,

It's a bank holiday in the UK today and the sun is set to shine, yippeeee.  Well my Son has started to venture off on longer journey's in the car on his own this weekend and it's kinda of weird.  I'm so used to having him home that he left after Hubby had programmed the Satnat to avoid the motorway, and me and Hubby went for a walk with Ollie.  I said goodbye to my Daughter and reminded her to lock up after she goes out for the evening.  We arrived back home an hour later and I said to my Husband have you got the key..... he looked at me and said no, have you.. Lol, we were locked out.   I had to call my Daughter and ask her to come home to let us in, she wasn't happy with us, lol. Guess we'll get used to noone being at home anymore.... sob, sob, sob.

My card today is my DT card for Live and Love Crafts, the theme that the DT are following this week is "Animals".  The Girls are really so talented that hop on over and become a follower if you aren't already, you won't want to miss the inspiration and all those yummy goodies that LLC stock. I have used a Lili of the Valley image,  and water coloured with distress inks, aren't these two gardeners just the cutest.  The laces are absolutely gorgeous and I have used 3 varieties, all thumbnail links below as usual.

The beautiful papers are by MajaDesign Vintage Summer Basics 1921, really love this paper, in fact I have just ordered some more, lol.

The mini bark heart was stamped with the text from the Magnolia Butterfly kit.  The wooden butterfly was embossed with the shabby white frantage and an Idea-ology game spinner and pearl added to the centre.

I have used shabby rose frantage on the 2mm beads around the image. Add edges have been distressed with gesso and snowtex.  The little watering can charm is from TheRibbonGirl and perfect for these little cuties.
