Tres Chic

Morning Everyone and a very special welcome to my newest followers,

Today is my DT card for LLC and the theme we are following this week at LLC is Tres Chic.  I have chosen a magnolia image and thought she looked pretty cool and imagined her walking through the streets of Paris with a little trendy handbag dog, who is a lot like my dog who doesn't like to heel but lead the way, lol.

The papers are from MayaDesign Autumn Basics No. IX, distressed with walnut stain and white gesso.  The base of the card was cut using the new February Release Marianne Design Die Anja'a Border and the shape of the top was also cut from the same die set.  

I have used some of the new lace Euphoria shabby rose pearl organza.

You can see from the below picture an array of flowers, roses of different sizes, foam flower buds and  carnation.  I have placed another pen nib to the centre of the butterfly and a prima resin corner  which you can just about see in the picture.  The leaves were cut from Marianne Designs Swirls and Leaves 3 die.

Did you notice the new Graphic 45 metal butterfly.  I distressed it with a little coloured alcohol ink, I used  denim and I think teal, and a little gesso around the edge and finished off with a Vintage Findings Vintage Teardrop pearl centre.

I added at tag positioned in a Melissa Frances Pink Vellum Envelope. The tag was finished with vintage seam binding and I added a small mirror charm one of the new idea-ology pearl bauble.

Guest at LOTV With Adorable Baby Balloon

Morning Everyone,

Soooooo excited to have been asked by the lovely Anne to guest for LOTV, who wouldn't say no. It's also challenge day at LLC so I have a combined DT paper bag card for you today.  The challenge theme is Love and Lace and to be different, I have chosen the love of a baby and to do a paper bag card.

I have used the oh so gorgeous Lili of the Vallley Balloon Basket, OMG I love this stamp and I have also used the baby companion stamp set, definitely soooooooo cute.  I have stamped the words BABY and BOY from the set and layered onto a wooden banner and edged with walnut distress ink. I have positioned the word BOY into a prima resin oval frame and added some handcut flags from the gorgeous Pion Design Forget Me Not from the Sweet Baby collection.

Here's a picture with the little tag removed, again stamped from the Lili of the Valley Baby Companion Set.  I've added seam binding, Baby Delivery Charm and 3 wild orchid craft roses.

The lace is called  Zoe, so beautiful.  The Balloon Basket image has been layered onto a spellbinders floral oval with 3mm pearl string.trim.

The bottom of the card is finished off with wild roses, roses 20mm and 20mm, flower spray in cream and baby rose buds.

And then we open up the card.  The clothes on the washing line were also stamped from the LOTV Babies Companion set and I cut them out and added wooden pegs and some twine.  The butterflies are cut from the PionDesign Studio of Memories cut out sheet, one of my favourtie Pion Papers.

You will see on the left hand side that I have cut out the baby tag, edged with walnut distress ink, a little cheese cloth underneath.  I stamped the Hello  Little One, again from the accessories set and added to the tag.  The Love paperclip on the right is by MayaRoad.

Oh, do you see the little Giraffe, isn't he adorable.  I stamped out and coloured him with distress inks.  I also stamped out the two tags, again from the accessories sheet and added to the side.  

Can you see the little hinge clip on the right...... look at the next picture to reveal what's on this....

Here's all the tags pulled out.  Aren't they cute.  The baby companion set sure has come in handy for this project.  Stamped onto kraft card, edged with walnut distress ink and a little gesso.

The main tag pulled from the inside of the paper bag card has another tag cut from the Pion Design cut out sheet and this one allows for all the Glad Tidings of the new arrival to be put.

LOVE

Morning Everyone,

I have a magnolia card for you today and I have used Tilda'a Dressing Table and Tilda with Spring Heart, sooo cute.  I have coloured with distress markers.  The papers are by My Minds Eye and called Cupids Arrow No. 14

I have used my favourite magnolia doohickey So Wrapped  Lovely and added some kaisercraft black lace and a heart charm.  You will also see the new Marianne Design LOVE die, would look fab with a sitting image on too.  This is due into BunnyZoe any day now, so keep your eye out.  The pink roses and the pearl sprays are also by Marianne Design. I have also added two 8mm black flat backed pearls.

Here's a close up of the new Marianne Design LOVE die.  I distress the edges with a sand block and added a little gesso.

I have tried to photograph a close up of the flowers so you can see the heart pins, one in clear and one in red, both available HERE.

The edging die and the leaf die are both by Noor Design.
