Christmas in June

Morning,

Well guys after driving half way across the country I finally got a replacement car last night.  I've gone for the lowest insurance car, a little Citroen C2 2006 but I do actually like it and I'm sure will serve the purpose.  I am also dead nervous and feel like crying as My Son is going to drive it to school today for his exam.  As you can imagine I am sooooo nervous.  I went out with him last night so he has a feel for the car but he has promised to drive carefully, but none the less I am frantic with worry.  With all the car searching I am still very behind on blogging, so I do apologise, but I do love to read your comments, so thank you soooooooo very much for still being with me. :)

It's a new week and thus a new theme over at Live and Love Crafts.  I don't know about you but I like to get ahead with Christmas Cards so am grateful that the theme this week is "Christmas in June".

I have used Inkido's Christmas Music and decided to make a monochromatic card, just love all the browns/creams together..

It's the perfect opportunity to use one of those cute little angels Sandy has in store and I added some Kort and Godt berries and a pine cone and of course some snow tex and if you saw my post last Monday you would have noticed that I did a summer card using Snow Tex, so it's not just for Christmas, lol.

Here's a picture of the Brown Crispy ribbon with a little tulle and finished with a beautiful Teardrop Pearl Centre.

I have used 3 types of lace, aren't they gorgeous, all links below.

And here's a close up of the beautiful Angels, like butter wouldn't melt, lol.

Have a good week and Tina will be back to inspire you tomorrow.

I'm glad you have got your replacement car sorted now. I'm sure you son will be fine although I can totally understand how worried you must be feeling.
Take care

So beautiful, Tracy... all the lace looks amazing and it's a wonderful central image. The gauzy bow is fabulous - another great make.

Will keep everything firmly crossed for a safe car journey - I should think he'll be super careful after what happened, and I'm sure it will be fine.

So beautiful with the monochromatic brown again; this is one of my favourite angel images from the Inkido sheet. Beautiful layering of the lace and one's just gotta love snow-tex! Sandy xx
