Shaped Cards at Marianne's Divas

Hi Peeps,

Did you all have a great weekend. Mine vanished before my eyes as usual.  I did have a lay in yesterday until 9:30 which is really good for me, trouble is by the time you get up, shower, dry and straighten your hair half the day has gone. I certainly didn't get as much crafting done as I intended, spent most of saturday filling in forms trying to reclaim PPI, have any of you done this?

Today at Marianne's Diva's the theme is Shaped Cards.  Don't forget to use something by Marianne Design in order to enter, but I'm sure you all must have MD stash around.

I have used one of the Marianne Design vintage images, love them. I created the shape using Marianne Designs Anja's Squares, This set comes as 4 dies.

Of course my all time Marianne Design the Poinsetta had to make an appearance.  I have actually used the serrated ones this time and the minature version. I cut them on some Aida I purchased a while back to make another flower using a die.  I have added some Tim Holtz Picket Fence crackle pain to the edges.

Here's a close up of the Marianne Design Finish Star.  I cut it out on accetate and then added some diamond dust.

I've also added one of the new Marianne Design snowflake charms.

Ingredients:-
String pearls
Tulle

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes
Pile it on - Shaped Card
2 Sisters - Anything Goes
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas - Snowflakes
Crafty Catz - Easel Card
Fussy and Fancy - Easel Card
It's all about vintage - embossing
Fab n Funky - Vintage

Hugs Tracy x

My goodness!!! This is truly breathtaking! I absolutely love how you have used this set. Looks fantastic. Where have you bought the diamond dust? I have tried to find it here in Norway a while back but it hasn`t been available here. Maybe it is now though, but craft stuff seem to be less expensive outside of Norway anyway. So maybe i have to buy it from abroad. Have a great day hunni! Hugs...Mona

A simply GORGEOUS vintage card, Tracy! Wow - its a beauty! And I love how you've sparkled your snowflake and cut your flower from Aida. Some Aida fell into my shopping cart recently because I thought I might use if for something and now I know just what that something might be! Hugs, Lesley
