Pion Design's Patchwork of Life

It's been a while since I have posted but I have still been busy behind the scenes and have 3 cards coming up in Making Cards Magazine, so keep your eyes peeled :)

So today I am sharing with you my first project using Pion Design's latest collection, "Patchwork of Life".  Once again another beautiful collection of papers and caters for everyone.

I used a Scapiniec Shadow Box and used the Golden Years Sheet, so beautiful.  I die cut the sheets using LDRS Allifair Build a Die Set, such a versatile set that you can use to make a card shape or use to layer, which I have done.

The image from the matching image sheet was cut out using the LDRS Fancy Rectangles and Things set.  I added a couple of butterflies cut from the Borders sheet.

I kept it quite simple for me.  I added Lace Elenor to the bottom.

Scrapiniec Grapevine Decors was added to the Flowers and I cut the word Memories out of the border sheet also.

For the Flowers I used a Chrysanthemum but the other two were made using Foamiran in Ivory, Glistening Berries for one of the centres and I also added some Viva Decor Ice Crystals.

Legends of the Sea

Hello Everyone,

Tracy here sharing a card made with the awesome Pion Design release "Legends of the Sea".  This collection is great for male and female as well as all those summer nautical cards and scrapbook memory pages.

I have cut out the mermaid from the      sheet and positiioned her next to the text cut out from the tags sheet.  I added a little chunky white frantage and layered onto Pion Design Palette Brown

I added a Foamiran Flower with vintage matt stamens in blue lagoon and light grey as well as a button Alexis, seasheels and the fab anchors that we have in store.  To finish a vintage seam binding bow and some Scrapiniec leaves and a dashing of gesso.

I have added some double row pearl string.

In the below picture I cut out one of the borders, love these.

I used a Fantasy die with hexagons on the top left cut with the Pion Design Palette Brown

Memories

Hello Everyone,

Did you all get your Making Cards magazines.  If you did you would have this card and a step by step tutorial on how to make one of the Foamiran Flowers.  :)

The Beautiful papers by from Pion Design's "The Songbird's Secret", all links as usual at the bottom of the post.

I didn't want to cover up the beautiful bird image.  The memories sentiment was cut from Pion Design Mr Tom's 

Below is a close up of the flowers. The leaves were cut by hand and the texture createed using the Moulds, also linked below.

I added some Scrapiniec Meheni Laces.
