Season of Love

Morning Everyone,

Hope you all had a good weekend.  It's challenge time at BunnyZoe again, I know doesn't it come round quickly.

This month the theme is "Animals".  I have used A Random Fan image calles "Seasons of Love".

I have coloured the image using polychromo pencils onto blue card for a change.

The papers are from the 6 x 6 Wild Rose Studio pack called "Frosted Lace".

The Bird Table is from a Marianne Design Die CR1290  and I added a little snow tex for the snow effect.

The festive arrangement was made using the Tim Holtz die "Festive Berries".  This is no longer available at BunnyZoe but there are lots more dies available and right now Nikki has 15% off, so hop on over, you can use the links below to get there :)

Ingredients:-
Bird Feeder - Marianne Design
Tim Holtz Festive Berries

I also have another couple of projects I haven't yet posted:-

The first one I had a request for a 3 year old card using Spiderman, Superman and Buzz Lightyear, lol.  I think I accomplished it.

I cut the large 3 and then embossed using the Marianne Design Brick embossing folder which also comes with a matching die, yes, isn't that just fabulous.  I also cut the letters TODAY out using another Marianne Design die - mini letters and garland, so very handy to have in your stash.

STANLEY has also been die cut using the Marianne Design Alphabet Die

A little bit more of BUZZ on the back.

My next project was two enormous pegs, which I haven't decided whether to add magnets on the back or just use them as gigantic pegs.

The papers are from Michelle Roos Digital Papers and I have used Vintage Garden Party.

I used two Marianne Design Dies, the Owl COL1302 and the Marianne Design Bee that comes with text too and a LadyBird Die.  The text can be see along the edge of the peg.  Aren't they cute.

The flowers and cheese cloth are from Live and Love Crafts.

Daphne

Morning Everyone,

I know, my second post today, lol but what a beautiful image.  It's challenge time at BunnyZoe and this month Karina has prepared for us a Bingo Board, so hopefully you'll be able to hop on over and play with us.

I have used the gorgeous image "Daphne" by Whimsy Stamps.  I just love Sylvia Vets images, they are my favourtie images, always adorable and a joy to colour.

I have stitched around the card and the image, but it's hard to see in this photograph and believe me it was a major achievement for me to photograph, lol.  Everything that I was clearing out of my craft room ended up on the dining room table and floor so I had to clear space in order to set up my photo tent and lights, lol.

The paper is from the Marianne Design July release paper pad as well as the number 4, cut from the new numbers die.  My second use of this die today, so definitely needed for your stash.

Shoreline Treasures Gift Bag

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all having a great Easter, it all goes far too quickly, so I am going to enjoy today before I have to return to work tomorrow :(

The theme this week at LLC for the DT girls to follow is "Shoreline Treasures" by PionDesign and I have made a gift bag to go with the card I made last week for my Sister.

I have used Shoreline Treasures 12x12 Bottom of the Sea papers and also cut the image from  the matching image sheet and added a tag from the tag sheet. As well as the image I cut out the postcard and added that too, distressed the edges and added some walnut stain distress ink.

The fabulous honeycomb is from Dutch Doobadoo.  I also used the honeycomb stencil from Dutch Doobadoo but I seem to have covered alot of it up on the right hand side, ooops, but I will be using it again, love it.

I didn't waste any time in using some of the new arrivals in store, namely the tulips, carnation and white daisy and added some older ones too; frosted berries, sweet blossom.  I have also used some seashells as this release screams out for these :)  To the centre of the daisy I added the grandpa clock charm.

I added the new ruffle trim to the bottom of the bag.

Here's a close up of the image.

I have added the Birthday die cut from the new Marianne Design BIRTHDAY collectables.  I have added some acrylic paint in blue and then some distress crackle paint

Here's the tag from the tag sheet and mounted onto cardstock.  I added the Wishes sentiment from the Marianne Design Collectables set and also the postage stamps from the Marianne Design postage mark stamp MAIL AROUND THE WORLD set.  I added twine and gesso.

Izzy's Bumble Bee

Hi Everyone,

Tracy here and I have for you today a card using one of the new Candibean images.  This one is called Izzy's Bumble Bee and if you are interested in seeing how I coloured the vase of flowers there is a little video tutorial on my blog.

The backing paper is by Marianne Design as are the leaves, made with Marianne Design Craftable Swirls and Leaves 3.  The image was coloured with Copic Markers.

I have a new camcorder and this was my video using it.  The video shows how I colour the glass vase to look like it has water in and give it some dimension.  I hope you enjoy it. I apologise or any shadowing when I'm colouring but I forgot to turn the light to my left on :(

Here's the finished card.
