Peek A Boo

Hi Everyone,

I'm back from holiday, did you miss me?  Well actually we got back last Sunday but was hard work trying to stay awake until bed time when you arrive at 4:30 in the morning, making it 34 hours since you last went to bed.  Not a good idea going to work the next day either, so it's been a long week to say the least.

Sooo onto my card today.  My mojo hasn't fully returned, I think I left it in Florida, or it could be down to the tiredness, I actually fell asleep typing on the laptop one evening, lol, I've never done that before.  Right, where was I, oh yes.  I have used Candibean Peek A Boo image, isn't she a cutie and she's for my niece's 3rd birthday today, so you can see one of the new numbers from the Marianne Design's July release, so handy to have.

The papers are just my new favourite, My Precious Daughter from Pion Design.  Totally in love with these and of course all available from Live and Love Crafts, full list with pictures at the end of the post.

The Viewfinder called Lovely View is also from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, I couldn't find my embossing mat, umm that's because I've tidied up you see, but is definitely one to have in your stash.

Izzy's Bumble Bee

Hi Everyone,

Tracy here and I have for you today a card using one of the new Candibean images.  This one is called Izzy's Bumble Bee and if you are interested in seeing how I coloured the vase of flowers there is a little video tutorial on my blog.

The backing paper is by Marianne Design as are the leaves, made with Marianne Design Craftable Swirls and Leaves 3.  The image was coloured with Copic Markers.

I have a new camcorder and this was my video using it.  The video shows how I colour the glass vase to look like it has water in and give it some dimension.  I hope you enjoy it. I apologise or any shadowing when I'm colouring but I forgot to turn the light to my left on :(

Here's the finished card.

Candibean

Hello Everyone,

I know, day two of the week and another card.  Well I have a surprise for you I'll have another one tomorrow, lol.

This little lady was made for the recent CHA show and not my usual style of colouring.  It was just before Christmas and with so much to do and very little time, my cards were a little rushed and I was disappointed with myself for that.  Anyway, that doesn't take away the fact that this little stamp by Little Darlings Rubber Stamps is utterly gorgeous and oh sooooo cute.  She is called Izzy's Bunnytime.

The sentiment is from the new release Vintage Affections Everyday.  A great set!

Penny's Walkies

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend, can't believe it's already Sunday, mind you can't believe it's only about 4 weeks to Christmas, eeeek.  We went into Milton Keynes late yesterday to watch the new film out "Hunger Games" and parking was already mental and this will be the last time we go on a Saturday, I hate all the crowds of christmas shoppers.

Today's card is using one of the Candibean images being released on Monday by Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.

The papers are also by Little Darlings called petals and lace, love the colour combinations in this pad.

I have used the Noor Design snowflake border, snowflake dies and added black soot to the edges.

Flowers are from wild orchid crafts available from Live and Love Crafts, kortandgodt, LLC flower spray and berries.  Lots of gesso.  I have used liquid applique for the snow and snow tex added to the top.

Below is the new die by Noor Design being released today.  The centre of the flower is made by using a Marianne Design rolled flower die.

Shop Til You Drop

Morning,

It's Friday and it's a long weekend here in the UK, yayyyyyyyy.  I'm hoping it doesn't rain but if it does there's painting to be done and crafting, hehehe, well you have to don't you.

Today I'm excited to share with you two CHA stamps coming to Little Darlings Rubber Stamps in a couple of weeks.  I have coloured in pastel tones for a change and created the Paris background to match the new little Candibean Shop Til You Drop image, isn't she a darling.   The postcard is from my stash but fitted perfectly with the little Eiffel Tower postage stamp in the corner.  The paper is also a new release to Little Darlings and is from the Petals and Lace 6 x 6 pack, gorgeous pinks, lilacs and greys.  I'll let you know when they hit the store so you don't miss out...

The brickwork was created using mainly the E group of Copics.  I have added a tag and attached some Melissa Frances pink tulle secured with a pearl brad.  The butterfly is my new favourite by Joycraft, but I guess you know that by now.

The postage stamp on the right hand set is from the Marianne Designs Mail Around the World stamp set, very useful.

Copics Used:-
Skin E00, E21, E11, E000, R20
Hair E43, E25, E31, E50
Pinks R83, R81, RV10, RV000
Lilacs V15, V12, V00, V000

Greys C7, C5, C3, C1, C00
