Funky Boots

Morning Peeps,

Hope you all had a great weekend.  I finally got round to picking up some tiles for the kitchen, you never know it might be finished by Christmas, lol.  I also did a little more tidying in my craftroom since my dear Hubby put together my last craft unit, now everything has it's place.  Just needs decorating.

Today is my DT card for Live and Love Crafts, you know how much I love that store, and the theme for us DT Girlies this week is charms.  Sandy has listed loads, and I mean loads of new charms, they are all so different.  I chose to use the boot, it's so funky and with my Daughter's 21st looming I thought it would go well with these Make It Crafty City 60's Girls.  I can't see them listed in rubber yet but you can certainly get them in digi HERE.

I masked the girls onto Stamping Linen. It takes a bit of getting used to as it's harder to blend the colours. I'm also suffering with my right arm, according to the Nurse I have RSI, Repetitive strain injury.  It's really painful so I haven't crafted as much this week.  If it doesn't improve in 10 days I may have to wear a splint and I'm sure that won't be any good for colouring :(

I cut the Marianne Design clock out and added some little pompom trim, so cute.

And here's the charm, well it's quite large for a charm, but isn't it funky? Of course I added some Gesso.

Thanks for popping by.  Click on the pictures below to take you direct to the products in store.

Hugs Tracy x

Winter at LLC

Hi Peeps,

Hope you all had a great weekend.  Mine was very productive in that I cleaned the house top to bottom, cleaned the oven and had a major sort out of the airing cupboard and I made a card.  I'm worn out and back to work today and unfortunately it's not a short week :(

It's my first post for the LLC store blog and I am still very excited about this.  Live and Love Crafts do the most gorgeous embellishments, I am so grateful for Sandy for giving me the opportunity.  The girls have made me feel so welcome, they are a lovely little family.

I have chosen to colour a Magnolia image, Winter Skating Tilda, using copics.  I have matted Riddersholm Fleamarket paper and used both sides of the Riddersholm Ladylike.  I have also been busy stitching with my sewing machine.  I added a Melissa Frances Mini Bags and Tag at the very top and decorated with some Shabby Seam binding, Cluny Fan Lace and Bakers Twine add secured with a vintage pearl brad.  You will also see dangling from the brad two gorgeous Prima Velvet Trinkets. I also added a 4.5" doily, love doilies.

I added a Make It Crafty Snowflake Oval Frame and coloured this with prisma pencils.

All the edges were distressed with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and I have dabbed some Snow Tex here and there and as Sandy has said, this is one of my favourite products.

I added some Cheesecloth under the main image and some gorgeous Scalloped Venice Lace and some Organza Roses Trim and added some pearls to the centres.

I cut out a Tim Holtz Poinsetta using the design papers and added a Vintage Findings Beaded Centre, gorgeous.

A little floral arrangement in the top right hand corner consisting of a white Gardenia and some Kort and Godt Chrysanthemum's and some Pearl String.

A close up of the tag and those gorgeous Prima Velvet Trinkets - Zephyr.

The "Giggle" ticket is from Tim Holtz Adage Tickets and just finishes it all off nicely, I think.

Click on any of the highlighted products and you will be taken straight to the product in the LLC store.

Little Angel & Donna's Candy

Hi Peeps,

Half way through the week and I'm totally shattered. I didn't get much sleep Saturday night and think it has finally caught up with me.  We headed to bed at 1:30am and after I got settled, Ollie started barking.  OH had already started snoring so after half an hour of barking and snoring I went down to settle Ollie.  I think it was the wind and the rain hammering down on the windows that was frightening him.  I returned to bed but he kept barking so at 2:30 enough was enough and I brought him upstairs.  He was still panting like mad and took him another 20-30 mins to settle.  Needless to say it was gone 3am.  If you had told me two years ago I would own a dog and then allow him in my bedroom at night, I would of said you were barmy and not on my nellie, lol.

I have for you today a cute little Angel by CC Designs called Sweet Noelle.   I have stamped her onto kraft cardstock and coloured her in using polychromo pencils. Love the white on kraft.

Ingredients:-
Go Kreate Die to create the base of the card
Tim Holtz Holly Die
