My DT card today is for LLC and Sandy has chosen the theme "inspired by a movie". With the latest Marianne Design Dies on my desk it wasn't hard as the first movie I thought of was "Through the Looking Glass". So here is my interpretation using Maya Design's latest release; Coffee in the Harbour - Rose Garden.
Also another newbie on my desk was the Marianne Design's latest embossing folders, but not just an emobossing folder, it comes with a die to match the folder. Soooo cool and I am so impressed with them. I have used the honeycomb or chicken wire as some of you might call it. It's embossed and then I cut out a few segments ro create the rugid look and die cut the marching paper and scattered the pieces. Love the look.
I have used two layers of lace, Lace Josephine and Lace Reinette. Two of my favourites.
I have added vintage pins to the floral arrangement which is made up of 30mm wild rose, 20mm, 15mm and WOC open roses, carnation, foam flowers and pink pearlised stamen and then I added the large vintage mirror, love love love this mirror.
I have also added a Prima Resin clock and of course my favourite Pion Design Studio of Memories cut out sheet of butterflies.
The image is by Marianne Design and fits perfectly in the new Marianne Design Mirror. It comes with a little matching mirror but on this occasion I used the vintage mirror trinket.
I have added the smaller of the two newly release Marianne Design bows, again in matching paper. The die cut pattern was a little lost in the patterned paper, but I think you get the gist. I added to the centre a antique jeweled pendant. Beautiful.
I hope you like my card today and I will be back later in the week with a Christmas card, yep it's that time when I need to get cracking, plus I luvvvv the christmas images.

stunning card.x
This card is a work of art, a gift in and of itself. Sure would love to find this in my mailbox! Just lovely!
Ehmmm....must admit I had never heard of this movie...well actually I don't think it was until Diana brought on pirates of the Caribbean on the last day of the theme week that I was well familiar with it. Says something about how often I watch movies, doesn't it? :-) I'm more of a TV series person.
Anywho; beautiful colour scheme and details.
