Strike A Post

Morning Peeps,

It's time for another Simply Sassy Blog Hop showcasing Release 9, and again I'm sure you wont be disappointed.  If you have arrived from our special guest Elaine, then your on the right track.  If not hop on over HERE to get started.

I have used the image "Strike A Pose".  She so reminds me of my daughter who never seems to be able to have her picture taken without some sort of pose, but then again all the girls in her pictures are the same, pouting and posing, lol.




You can't see all the steps so I have tried to take photo's from different angles.

Papers by Pion
Bazzil cardstock
Magnolia Doohickey Doily flowers, butterfly and heart swirl
Leaves and dragonfly (lefthand back step) are lasercut chipboard pieces from Make It Crafty and Quixotic Paperie
Green and Pink Acrylic Paint
Tim Holtz Film Strip Stamp
Staz on ink, flowers and accetate from stash
Cardbase from Whichcraft UK

    Stunning creation. Love all the flourishes and flowers and what a beautiful image. I do relate with you on daughters posing - my 5 year old is as good as any model lol. Beautiful card.

    Fantastic card and gorgeous colouring - I think this release has to be one of my favourite yet! And as it was my birthday last week I have some money to treat myself. Hmm which ones though? My fave is a toss up between Strike a Pose and Team Spirit... Lol think I may end up buying them all xx

    Your floral spray with the pink "sweetcorn cobs" is a real beauty & I just love your colours & the use of pearls. The restrained use of those olive green leaves really just accents the whole perfectly & I love her hair & the shine you created on her shoes.
