I've been experimenting again!

Hiya Peeps,

If your looking for the Simply Sassy Blog Hop click HERE or scroll down one.

Well, I have admired from afar the work done with prisma pencils on kraft cardstock and really wanted to give it a go, so I decided yesterday that today was the day.   I tried searching the internet for skin combos as I really didn't know what pencils to use, but that search was without success really.  It might of helped if I had actually coloured a whole image using prisma's on white cardstock so at least I would of had some idea, but as I've said before once I get an idea in my head I run with it.  So anyway, my search didn't amount to much so I ended up with a multitude of pencils on my table and as such I still couldn't tell you what I used, lol, so if there's anyone out there that can help me or point me in the right direction I would be obliged.

I love the pastel effect that the prismas give on kraft so I will be continuing my practice and will get braver as I've played it a little safe, but overall I'm pretty pleased with the result.

  1. Hi Tracy,
gorgeous card hunni. Love how the colours change on Kraft cardstock - must give it a try too sometime, thanks for the inspiration. I have only recently started using prisma pencils and I use the soft peach, peach, blush pink and sometimes add a very small amount of tan.

  6. The little grunge stamp will have to go on my wish list - here it really is picked up beautifully with your chpboard diecuts - love the combination of pink, kraft & white with the green to accent. As others have already said the shading is lovely - looking forward to seeing more of this.
Pencils are very addictive - even more so than markers. Kraft gives such an amazing effect & I love your embellishing with this one - restrained by your standards if I might be so bold as to say - but utterly utterly right & effective.
