Young Love

Evening Peeps,

Just a quick post so I make the Lili of the Valley challenge.  I've been itching to ink up these stamps and I took my camera to work with me today to take a picture in natural light, and how's your luck, battery was too low and just cut out on me.  So I am not happy with the picture that I took this evening and hopefully will get a better one tomorrow.  So here we go:-

Update: HERE's the picture I took today, or should I say pictures.....

That's better.

Aren't they cute?

Here's the lasercut chipboard from Make It Crafty.  I used my copic to colour the black and red and then added clear embossing powder and voila!

Materials Used:-

Coloured with copics as usual and prisma pencils for shading.
Papers are by Magnolia
Magnolia Doohickey Border die
Hear is grunge board painted with white acrylic paint and then the sentiment stamped on it and then distressed with walnut stain distress ink
Back panel is stitched using my sewing machine
Gorgeous heart flourish lasercut chipboard die has been coloured with black and red copics and then embossed with clear embossing powder

It's funny you should mention the 'lack' of flowers, I actually had quite and array of them on that card and just couldn't do it, lol, just didn't seem right and I had to take them off. Oh' that simple, simple card took me FOREVER!! Can't wait to see what you do with her!

  14. The black accenting of your circle, flourish & that flower are just stunning, I especially like the two colours of the heart flourish, really effective & there's another little eye journey starting at the black flower & going round clockwise taking in that triptych of hearts. The torn edging is a lovely touch & that white lace just lightens the whole & picks up on the white of your white painted grunge board.
