Well it's early on Wednesday morning so it's time for "Cooking It Up With Katie". This fortnight's recipe is:-
Design a card for Mum or a special lady
Punch it up
Add a brad
Simple, hey. This fortnight we are being sponsered by
I have chosen this beautiful magnolia stamp. I purchased her a while back and just haven't had time to play, so as this week we could choose our own image, I thought it was time to pop her out of her packaging and ink her up.
I have used the following materials:-
Papers by Websters, which I have distressed, love these papers
Marianne Circle Die - I have doodled around the edges
Doily - I sprayed this with glimmer mist
Magnolia Tilda stamp and sentiment. Background stamp is Whiff of Joy
I have used copics to colour the image and also flower soft on some of the flowers
Martha Stewart Frond Punch
Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts
Butterfly punch
RicRac, tulle and Brads from stash
MUM was cut using quickutz
Stardust stickles
Distress Inks for the background
I think that was everything, lol!
I have entered this card into the following challenges:-
Trimmies Craft Challenge - Pink & Brown
Lili of the Valley - Sketch
Kaboodledoodles - Embossing (the marianne design die has embossed but I have doodled around it with a white pen)
Magnolia Down Under - Charm (butterfly under right hand side flowers)
One Stop Craft - Metallic
The Secret Crafters - Distressed
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
Creative Cottage - Circles
Nutcrafters Nutshells - Spring
Quixotic Paperie - Distressing
A really gorgeous card Tracy. I'm sure it will be well received. Hugs x
