Purple Fairy

Hi Everyone,

I should now be gambling in Las Vegas, lol.  I seriously doubt I will be doing much gambling, I'll cry if I lost too much money, lol.

I actually made this a while ago for a magazine and after I made it they kept saying it was being published when the magazine never materialised so I thought I would share it with you.

The image is From The Hollow collection called Christy.


The papers are by Pion Design My Precious Daughter.


The sentiment is from the Vintage Affections Release 4 - Enchanted Wishes

Celebration



Hello Everyone,

Over at LLC Sandy has set a theme of Celebrations this week and as it happens I am flying to Las Vegas today for my niece's wedding, so I'm sure you can guess what my celebratory card is, lol.


I have used Pion Design's Vintage Wedding collection and also the Pion Design palette Green I behind the heart butterfly die.

All the hearts are edged with the new flatbacked  pearl string.


I have added lots of cream tulle.

I die cut the butterfly heart and then diecut it again using the paper and added the butterflies.

I added a 20mm rose, berries and a Kort and Godt Hortesania.


The butterfly is by prima.

The front heart is finished with a bark heart, and a further flower arrangement of 30mm rose, 20mm rose, rose buds, white Hortesanias, berries and finished with a clay heart and seam binding.

Santa's Dashing Through the Snow

Ho, Ho, Ho,

No, your not seeing things and Yes, I've gone a little mad, lol.  Tomorrow I will be heading to Las Vegas, yayyyy, so need a holiday and this is such a fun filled planned holiday I am really looking forward to it.... well except the flight :(

So as you know I love Christmas and I didn't get round to making the Sleigh last year I have taken the opportunity of making it early.

I have used the Dutch Doobadoo Sleigh stencil for the base and the Happy Holiday's 12x12 paper pad.



Santa is coloured with distress ink markers.

I have used the Marian Smith Color Lab Kit to make the aqua colour and sprayed the Marian Smith Inkable flower to match Santa and I also used it to spray the seam binding so that it all matched .... and..... also the new holly vines that trail down from the flower arrangement and over the curvature of the sleigh.


The sentiment is from the winter wishes sentiment set.


I also added one of the new Vintage Holly Leaves for decoration to the flower arrangement.


You can still order whilst I am away as I have a little helper running the shop :)

The Holly and the Ivy

Hi Everyone,

I have received my Pion Design DT papers and couldn't wait to play :)

I have used the new Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art Tear Drop for the base along with Pion Design's Palette in Green III - PD6120.

The gorgeous image is from the new Grandma's Attic Christmas Greetings sheet PD1314 and Sandy will be getting these into stock real soon, so keep note of the names of the papers :)


I have added gorgeous lace at the bottom and a little inbetween the layers at the top.

I have used the green pallete to diecut the new vintage flourish holly leaves, flower spray and red ponegranites.


The second Vintage Flourish holly leaf..... edged with forest moss distress ink.  I also added some Dutch Doobadoo Softwood Tiles with a coating of gesso, which we have just found out is prononced "Jes- oh".  Now I have to think everything I say this word, lol.


I wanted to ensure the beautiful image was visible from the paper and the little Christmas Greetings sentiment.


I added the matching border to the centre of the lace.
