A Spring Stroll

Woo Hoo Peeps, its Saturday, Yayyyyyyyyy,

I do love the weekends and tonight we are going round friends for dinner so even better I don't have to cook.  It's challenge day again over at Make It Colourful and today's theme is "shiny".  Ummmm this one had me wondering and I had planned to get out my glossy accents, but no, we are a colouring challenge and therefore you have to make your images shine with colours.  Anyway, my gorgeous "Heartstrings" image, which incidentally was purchased from our sponsor this week, Quixotic Paperie, has shiny hair and I have tried to shine some light on the background image, "House on the Wonky Hill " available from Make It Crafty, especially on the grass.  The team have done a fab job as always, such awesome colourers, so hop on over once your done here.

I have had this image at least six months and just hadn't got round to inking her up but with Quixotic sponsoring the challenge it was an ideal opportunity to blow the dust off of her.  Isn't she just adorable though, taking a stroll on a spring day.  It certainly doesn't feel like spring outside my front door, that's for sure!

I love the way those two floral sprays are just that bit different & your layering of the lace behind that border is so effective. It's very effective having the heart doily on the opposite side to that double border & the large pink leaf - lovely piece of balancing that.

It's nice that we can choose to dictate what weather we'd love to have by just colouring it that way, isn't it? It would be fun if we can do the same with the real weather! Love her shiny black hair and grass!

Oh I get it... you didn't like my "automated" message. LOL - you crack me up! Your work is fantastic, what do you say... do want to join the Make it Colourful team with me? ;D

I love this card and they way you colored the Wacky House - simply gorgeous - and YES you're absolutely a very inspiring temmie! I just get so bogged down with my email that I usually only make my rounds once a week if I'm lucky... I feel so "out of it" these days, hence the reason for dropping out of FB as much as possible. :D *Hugs
