A touch of Spring

Morning Peeps,

I spent most of yesterday in my craft room, although little inspiration due to waking up with a full on cold, grrrrrr.  It's been going around in my office for the past 5 months, so I have done well to avoid it, well until now.  Not to worry I have a week off and it's my Daughter's birthday tomorrow so I will be back tomorrow with one of the creations I have made for her.

Now today's card, is a guest design team card for Cupcake Inspirations and as the challenge over at Lili of the Valley is a favourite colour combo so my card will fit in nicely. I have many favourite colour combo's, but I am currently loving the aqua, pink and a little blue here too.

Can't believe I hadn't got round to inking her before today.

I think she would make a lovely Mother's Day card giving a bouquet of flowers to Mum, ahhhh so cute.

Here's the Cupcake inspiration that I followed:-

This looks too good to eat, but I'll give it a go, lol.  If you want to join in the fun head over to Cupcake Inspirations.

Materials used:-

Image by Lili of the Valley
Medium Copics and Prisma Pencils
Papers are a mix of Bearly Mine Designs and Nitwits
Magnolia Lace border die and doohickey swirl
Marianne Design smaller swirl
Square doily from bizzy becs
Raffia Lace
Flowers from wild orchid crafts/bizzy becs

I have entered this card into the following challenges:-

Lili of the Valley - favourite colour combo
Charisma - Spring has sprung
Digi Doodles - Anything Goes
Paper crafting journey - Anything Goes
Shelly's image - Show us what you got
Creative Cottage - Lots of flowers
Digital Tuesday - Use a diecut
Flourishes - 3 patterned papers
Scrap Creations - Spring fever
Bunny Zoe - Spring, flowers everywhere

See you tomorrow Peeps with a sneek peak of the new Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy Release 5, woo hoo!

I do hope your cold doesn't turn too nasty. Dleightful the way you've taken the swirls from the inspiration photo & how the two swirl clusters frmae your image. Again your msterful leading of the eye around & into the imgae. Love the raffia ribbon with the spots on her bouquet wrapper picked uo in that spotted paper but also the doily & the lacey punched border.
