Jules

Hi Everyone,

Don't feint, I have another Saturated Canary image called Jules, isn't she a darling.  I don't normally do digi's as my printer doesn't like them and when I colour them they usually end up with dirty faces, but I printed in draft and the ink hasn't run, hooray.

I love the colour combo grey and lilac and I guess you hear me start many a sentence with, "I love the colour combo......", but I actually have so many favourite colour combinations, lol.

The spellbinders floral oval is one of my recent purchases, just love this die and I have also used the new Marianne Design flower die, in case you didn't spot it, its the daisy style flowers in the grey, I really like it.  You also get a branch in the set and I have cut this out in black and popped a butterfly on it.

The gorgeous lace is from Live and Love Crafts as is the bark heart, gorgeous.

Freezing Cold

Morning,

Just a quick post from me as I'm running late.  It's time for the monthly challenge at Marianne's Divas and the theme is an easy one, "your favourite colour".  Well that's difficult as I have so many but I do love teal, so I thought I'd do this little guy in teal and green to match the paper.

Gotta run, have to make tracks to work.

Soon to be released at Crafts and Me

Morning,

Hope your sitting down, 3 cards in as many days.  Don't get used to it, well actually it nearly wasn't, my camera has started to play up and when I went to download the computer says there are no new images, I think it has something to do with the date on it.  Grrrr. I think I'll see how many Tesco vouchers I have accumulated to see if I can get a new one from Jessops.  I was ready to throw it out the window last night.

O.K. now that I have vented some steam onto today's card which is for the Crafts and Me new challenge set by my beautiful blogging buddy Vicky.  The theme is Doilies.  Love doilies so a nice easy one for me. Do hop over to the Crafts and Me Challenge Blog to see all my teamies hard work and you never know you may see a new release or two, and speaking of new releases, check out this little lady by Hannah Lynn.  Sorry I don't know her name yet, she is that hot off the press.

Papers are by Prima called Romance Novel, I think BunnyZoe is out of stock at moment but Nikki carries loads of Prima Books, you can check them out HERE.

I have used a Cherry Lynn Doilie Die.  Ribbon and Flowers are from the Ribbon Girl and you can find the Marianne Designs Forest Branch HERE.

Love is in the Air

Morning Everyone,

Well did you enjoy all the gorgeous eye candy last week from the girls, I did warn you that you were in for a treat.  Today we start a new week and a new theme, which is topical at the moment,  "Love is in the air".  I still had to make a card for my Daughter's 21st, this time from me and Hubby so I chose to use a Saturated Canary image, who happens to be called "Love is in the Air".  I matched my copic chart to the papers and came up with R12, R11, R00 but it looks more like orange to me and I'm really not an orange girl.......ummmmm not to sure...........although growing on me.

I have made a pull out tab at the top and also a pull out tag to the side using lots Pion Papers from My Heart collection. I coloured on Stampin Linen and this time I found it easier, mainly because I think I coloured the wrong side last time, lol. Lots of pictures again, sorry........

I have used one of the new charms, you can see it hanging on the tag on the left, hearts and arrows.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

Pretty Little Ribbon Shop - Anything Goes
Wild Orchid Crafts - Pink and Cream (Roses are WOC)
Fashionista - Valentine/Love

Flowers and Pearls at BunnyZoe

Morning,

Hope you all had a good weekend.  I didn't think I was going to be able to share my money wallet with you today, for some reason my computer decided it couldn't see the camera and I really didn't know what to do, and I had so many projects to share with you.  In the end I re-set the date and took a couple more pictures and it decided then to play and import all the photo's.  I would be totally lost without my camera, mind you and my computer.  Speaking of which that has also decided to just beep and not play.  Unlucky for Hubby, so a new laptop is on the cards.  Fortunately for me I always use my work laptop, so I'm o.k., touch wood.

Right, it's the second Monday in the month and time for another challenge at BunnyZoe and the theme picked by Mari Therese is "Flowers and Pearls", yum one of my favourite recipes.  I have made a Money Wallet for my daughter's forthcoming 21st.

Tilda is coloured with copics and she is such a little darling.  The papers are all by Magnolia, and I love this collection.  I have also used the Magnolia Postcard stamp, love this too.

Here's the inside and Nikki has just got some new Kaisercraft Stamps in and I chose to use SMILE as it was just perfect as I know when she opens up the wallet to lots of pound notes she will be smiling, lol.

Ingredients:-

Postcard Text - Magnolia with love postcard

Vintage Gift Book

Morning Everyone,

When I joined Live and Love Crafts DT on 1st January, Elin was threatening to set all the DT a challenge, there was lots of talk of Orange, and I was scared, I mean shaking in my boots scared, Orange is definitely not for me.  Sandy gave Elin the go-ahead with the proviso to go easy on us. I am delighted to say that Elin chose to challenge us all to make a Book Gift Box and thought it would be great to see all the different interpretations, so if you head over to LLC every day this week you will be in for lots of eye candy.

We have all followed a tutorial by Wenche which can be found HERE if you'd like to give it a go.  I changed the dimensions but the principal is the same.  I have really enjoyed creating this book and will certainly be doing more. I couldn't wait to use the new gorgeous pion papers, they are my utmost favourite, totally Gorgeousssssssss.  All links to the products used can be found at the end of the post, just click the thumbnails.

Warning , this is picture heavy.

I stitched the main panels by sewing machine and decided to use embroidary stitch by hand the oval panel so that it looked a little different.

Here's the book when you open it.

I used one of the new gorgeous new charms in store, the little, well actually not so little hand mirror. Perfect for my project. Oh and do you see the new corners Sandy has just got in.  They are available in white and cream and just look at the new colour poppies, beautiful.

Click on the collage below to see all the small details.

I hope you like my project as much as I did making it.  Thank you Elin for the challenge, I loved it.  Be sure to pop back tomorrow to see Tina's Gift Book.

Especially For You Mum

Yayyy it's Friday and you know how much I love Friday's.

Men! Don't know about you but when my petrol light comes on I like to get petrol as soon as possible, I guess I'm an organised person in all respects.  Hubby always tuts at me and rolls his eyes. On the other hand when his light comes on he always leaves it as long as possible and it's always I'll get that on my way to work tomorrow, which turns into I'll get that on my way home blah, blah, blah.  Anyway I was just about to pay a visit to my craft room last night when I received a call from him saying he had run out of petrol.  Men!  I would of laughed except it meant I had to go out in the cold, fill up the petrol can and go and rescue him.  Now I can tut, tut at him, lol.

Well I can't believe we are on the 1st of February today and of course this means it's a new challenge at Live and Love Crafts.  Tina has done a fabulous sketch for us and below is my interpretation.  Just click on the thumbnails at the end of this post to check out all the gorgeous embellishments at LLC.

This is the sketch that I followed:-

Please pop over to Live and Love Crafts to check out the rest of my teamies, they won't disappoint.

Have a great weekend.
