Looking Gorgeous

Good Morning,

Another post, I know 3 in 3 days, lol and I've thoroughly enjoyed it.  I have used another LDRS Creative image coming to Noor Design this week, yikes, I'm so excited by this release :)

So this little lady and her wares is called "Looking Gorgeous" and is by All Dressed Up, love these girls.  The shape of the card was made using the Dutch Doobadoo Stand Up stencil and the beautiful papers are the new Easter Greetings collection by Pion Design.

I told you I couldn't wait to play with the new creative expressions lac edged leaves, aren't they just soooo gorgeous.  All the diecuts were cut using my favourite colour pallet from Pion Design White I.

I have added a few of my favourite Pion Design butterflies from the Easter Greetings Border sheet.

I used the Dutch Doobadoo pearl pen around the edge of the image and a few clusters dotted onto the image.

Coloured with distress inks.  If you would like to learn or improve your water colouring you can join us at Kit and Clowder.

I used double row pearls on the two outer panels.

I have used lace on the top edges all the way round, but it isn't showing up too well in the photographs.

Hope you like it :)

Sweatshirt Saturday

Good morning,

Something a little different from me.  I have been playing with the new LDRS collection, due into Noor Design UK this week, yayyyyyyyy.  The gilded embossing set, which comes with two embossing folders was so elegant and beautiful that I decided to do a clean and simple card.  Yep, I know, not something I usually achieve.

The image is also from the new release, Saturated Canary Sweatshirt Saturday, coloured with distress inks and is also due in store this week.  You can pre-order on the Noor Design UK site :)

I used the Gilded embossing folder for form the base.  I then cut the largest gilded oval and left the die in place whilst I added some distress ink before layering the next oval.

I cut the image out using the Pierced Oval die set.

I used the filagree border from the gilded oval set and place a few flowers to the centre and positioned across the bottom..

I made the inside to match the front and used the Vintage Affections "Wishing You" sentiment set for the sentiment.  Love these sets.  The little scroll is also from the same set.

The embossing set, gilded oval set and pierced oval set, all match and compliment each other perfectly.

As mentioned earlier there is 30% off over 80 stamps at Noor Design UK this weekend.  Click on the photo to go shopping.

Hope you like it :)

Vintage Time

Good Morning,

I had loads of fun decorating this Dutch Doobadoo MDF Clock.  I used the gorgeous Budding Spring paper pad, soooo gorgeous and my usual helping of gesso :)

You can get the mechanics for the clock, HERE, so it can be a working clock, but I just wanted to decorate on this occassion.

I used the Prima Clock embellishment for the face of the clock, link at the bottom of the post.

I used the Vintage Flourishes swirl with heart diecut as the swirly leaves in the floral arrangements.

I also cut the butterflies form a second sheet and layered onto the butterflies strategically placed on both of the bells of the clock.

I also added some cheesecloth under the flower arrangements.

Look what's arrived at Noor Design UK, yum yum yum Lemoncraft papers and embellishments.

The new Tiny Miracles is a new release at Lemoncraft

We also have some Lemoncraft embellishments...

Have a good weekend
